Pious: It's cool to see comics from you again. The camera angle is fine, but you're going to need an extra panel to show us his default non-breathing in state so we can tell that he's changed from it. Make the second row three panels: 1. His face, 2. His face, nostrils flared, chest rising, etc., 3. the smile. Change the posture according to help convey the action and his personality (And to avoid copy/paste).
I don't really get the point of the last panel. What's happening? Are we being shown the scene? Why is that specific panel last?
So, this was a drawing I did for an introductory art class in high school. I took a photo of it instead of scanning it, so the quality is a little off. Not of similar calibur to any of the other stuff on her, but not too shabby for someone just screwing around for a little fun. Anyways, it was supposed to be a play on words. The shadow is too sketchy and the rocks are too bland, but I did what I was capable of and I rather like it.
I'll try to scan it soon. Scanner is weird at the moment. Then I will update the photo.

I never did stop making comics, I just never showed you them. I have one 21 page chapter complete, but its a few months old. I'm going to redraw it once I get all 14 plus chapters done and my art improves. Its just a large project I made for myself so I can draw more.
This comic, I just started, its not mine, i'm collaborating with a writer.
Anyhoo, awesome, k, 3 panels. and the last panel...Ok, its a titled camera view of the battle field and its all on fire, in front of a sunset. He's standing there in front of dead bodies.
I know it looks really goofy looking, I just drew it directly on tablet. I'm not used to that.
Orik, thanks for the catch. I moved some of the stitches and folds around on the hand. Hopefully that's better.
Pious, that's pretty awesome. I'd love to see them sometime, even though you're planning to redraw them eventually. Gettin' back to the page at hand, though. The last panel seems like it's trying to be a reveal panel where we get to see the destruction, but its impact is lessened by the dead dude in the first panel. We already know things are going down by the end, so it ends up being a bit redundant.
also, that FF is running real fast to have tycho fighting gravity like that
but of course that is natural
good stuff

BRO LET ME GET REAL WITH YOU AND SAY THAT MY FINGERS ARE PREPPED AND HOT LIKE THE SURFACE OF THE SUN TO BRING RADICAL BEATS SO SMOOTH THE SHIT WILL BE MEDICINAL-GRADE TRIPNASTY MAKING ALL BRAINWAVES ROLL ON THE SURFACE OF A BALLS-FEISTY NEURAL RAINBOW CRACKA-LACKIN' YOUR PERCEPTION OF THE HERE-NOW SPACE-TIME SITUATION THAT ALL OF LIFE BE JAMMED UP IN THROUGH THE UNIVERSAL FLOW BEATS
Whoa there little lady, hold your horses. I can't be seen traipsing around in public wearing naught but my birthday suit, I've got to have some kind of standards after all. Who do I look like, John Carter of Mars? Honestly now.
What if there's some sort of traditional ancient Martian winner-lives loser-dies Pants Wearing Competition? Won't you feel bad then!
Is it a moustache or a gaping mouth? A question that will plague man for about 2 mintues, before coming to the conclusion "Dude, it's totally a 'tache!"
So I finally got a homebrew cart for my DS and spent most of last night figuring out how to get it to work, then getting a grip on Colors DS. The colours are a bit off, and my DS Fat's screen is a little on the small side but having a portable graphics tablet (with pressure sensitivity!) is pretty awesome.
Glad you like it. She's looking for something between Mondrian and Rothko. This one is a bit more Mondrian-inspired than Rothko, but I have a hard time replicating the feel of Rothko at all. The man's work is just so hard to capture.
I'm probably going to do a new version w/ a different color pattern, based on her comments.

well with that attitude, you're never going to improve your condiment storage.
The 3rd and 4th panel, I wanted to make it look like he was taking a deep breath before he smiled.
anything else you would change? Camera angle? Its weird drawing directly on the comp.
and yeah, I know that dead samurai is waaay misplaced and small next to the guys feet.

Colored.

I frickin' love this.

And Wakkawa, you are a god.

(Thanks, Betel!)
The asymmetry in the dude's white chap-pants thing glares at me. The straight-line folds ubiquitous in the clothing are kind of distracting too.
My basic contest idea, which I already posted in the contest thread, but you know, here it is

Now, the question is can you tell what it is sitting on? I'm not confident it's clear.
Also, this painting is ALOT smaller than the soldiers, only 9"x6" this time. Sorry for the pic quality, only camera I have is the iphone one.
The last thing I drew was my avatar.

EDIT: I am instantly regretting drawing this.

Why so small?
That's a really bad photo, but I'd've guessed that it's a towel.

I certainly chuckled.
And man, you guys beat the shit out of that guy in the book cover thread.
Like how Hot Topic and Wet Seal ruined Natalie Dee t-shirts
Too soon!
Not the best photo possible.
