I instantly love Franken Fran (although Fran's personality and motivations seem to alter drastically from chapter 1 to chapter 2). I wish I could come up with such a neat premise.

They explains it in the volume - chapter 1 is actually the pilot episode. Chapter 2 onwards is the definite version of the character, with a new design.

    so i read franken fran

that was delightful, always good to get a few more horror stories in

i've also read parasyte but it's honestly pretty boring, basically a typical battle manga with more body-horror stuff mixed in

though there is a plot point early on that was pretty daring, all things considered

Spectrum and Dac Vin weren't kidding when they said this series was good. I already recommended it to one friend, who called me the next night saying "this is the first manga I could ever relate to" while sniffling.

Somehow this is the best way to rope people in Fap Note: you send them a link to it as a semi-joke of sorts, then watch as they get hooked once the serious kicks in. To take a jab as the guy who supposedly don't recommend crap stuff, think the harem->shounen progression in Negima but with 5 or so chapters instead of a hundred.

But then you can't have a love triangle where your female self eventually loses out to your ninjutsu keyboarding teacher : (

Maybe, but the equation goes as follows: "Dac Vin + Love Triangle = Bloody Carnage". The goal of my Brave New World is to get as far away as possible from a School Days scenario.

Considering me though, anything which I'm not okay with leads to such a scenario. So yeah. :x

That's precisely how I got into Onani Master. I assumed it'd be a comedy--"Fap Note". Then it became something so much more. And it was amazing.

on the other hand, this director’s done nothing but Pokemon and Linebarrels, and head writer is a veteran of Kanokon and the 2nd season of Minami-ke. That’s not a combination that inspires a terrible amount of confidence in a man.

That's one of Aroduc's descriptions that just screams "run far, far away."

If it was just Pokemon I would be cautiously optimistic but since the guy also directed the cliche trite that is Linebarrels of Iron, I'll consider it a plus if you don't get cancer upon watching it.

I have a feeling Shit is about to get significantly more Real.

They talked about turning off the Mother Goose System, which is what keeps Shiro from putting on the Red Man suit and going all crazy. Should be interesting!

I hope The Sacred Blacksmith turns out to be good. I haven't tasted medieval fantasy in years. Last one was Moribito.

Fairy Tail sounds promising, but ugh, Aya Hirano.

Kimi ni Todoke is already a winner and there's always Cross Game to fall back on.
