If you have a Lenovo laptop with any type of modern Intel processor in it, chances are it supports Intel VT - the hardware virtualization tech.
Only Lenovo are douchebags and for no reason don't put an option for it in the BIOS. But! The setting is still in the bios memory, and can be toggled on and off using a utility called symcmos.exe. Basically it dumps the list of symbols in the bios NVRAM and their values, and can write them back.
