yes I agree! It looks like she has a perfect rectangle of teeth that don't fit in her mouth, it is bothering me more and more as I watch or play the demo.
playing the demo in spoken french with english subtitles was very enjoyable for me. It eliminated a lot of weird facial animation problems I had. Although it is kinda weird watching FBI agents and cops talk in French.

I'm kind of bummed that we are stuck with the voice acting like this for good.
Not super upset or anything. But it would have been cool to have voice actors who were not trying to do an accent that was so different from their own and failing.
Honestly, the only accent I really noticed was Lauren Winters' - and I'm fine with assuming that she comes from a french family or is an immigrant herself. It's really not that much of a stretch. I thought Jayden, Shelby, the receptionist and the cops were all fine.
The only acting I hate is the kids', and I hate kids trying to act anyway.

Yeah I'm still definitely looking forward to it. Jayden's voice was a liiitle off for me.
The weird part is I thought it was fine in the videos, didn't bug me until I played the demo. Shelby's VA is pretty good. Not the best, but I think the voice fits him.
There was one video that has a receptionist with a super bad voice but I doubt he has many lines.

I'm really glad that the voice acting is what we are going to concentrate on here.
I'd rather talk about the gameplay, narrative, innovation, or characterization, but people seem content to fixate on the VA so i figured i'd say something about that.

I'm only talking about that because it is the only problem I have with the game. And since I've only played the demo so far I can't really speak to the quality of the rest of it. Really looking forward to it though and I am really glad there is a game trying out this kind of storytelling.

it's funny how unnatural it seems at first but by the end i really buy into the character
it's not perfect, but it's good enough, i think. certainly better than almost anything else around at that time.
