thats pretty, pretty awesome, awesomely naked lol.
i missed your live stream again goddamit lol
my nets capped for the rest of the week anyhow, so maybe next week i will see a live one
anyhow ive been busy also, finishing a painting
I wish all women looked like the ones you artists draw, but they really dont.
Women are flawd (and so are men). Anyways, awesome stuff. I come here to look at pretty pictures, and it is much more reliable than anywhere else i know on the interwebs . well done.
Started doodling in Paint in between classes some more to kill time. Original doodle turned into a completely original character I made up and is in no way someone else's work.
[Except for Disney]
Will probably finish this even though the pose is balls.
Thanks mang! And yeah, I don't usually do them, even though I think they're kinda fun. I can come up with heads I'm happy with, but I usually have a hard time coming up with the bodies.
Fug, the far arm seems awkward to me, as Im having trouble imagining it under the cloak, but I like it overall. The knife shes holding doesn't seem to be properly centered in her hand, as if she doesnt have a good grip on it.
Wakk, seeing some more smushy beginning work from you has helped me be more experimental, so I'm glad you're doing the live stream stuff.
@Mully: I think the arm/shoulder reads a little odd, and I can't tell if it's because the hair is just obscuring it in a way that makes it confusing, or if there's a legitimate anatomical error there.
The way it reads is that the shoulder/deltoid isn't being pushed upwards with the rotation of the clavicle as it would in that position, but remains in the same position as it would if the arms were down at her sides. If I try to take the girl's pose, my shoulder raises to being about level with my chin, the insertion of my deltoid is level with a little under the top of my ear, and my elbow goes above my head- a good deal higher than what's indicated in the painting.
Obilex, that is freaking badass dude! I'm thinking you could do something more interesting in the sky area of the composition. Not clouds, but maybe more forest and mountains - just to add a little more interest. But yeah, awesome.
I just think people are adding it without thinking about it. Your picture does not need it at all.
I know I have used it a bit wrong before, but now I generally only use it on extreme light sources to burn out edges. You know, like what would really happen with lens distortion.
I think the fish has lost some of its knobby, glistening ... fishiness. Highlights on the head look too matt and diffuse, almost like it's a bit furry. But otherwise awesome as usual. Love the colour scheme.

Wakk, That one creeps me out a little bit.
Feedback needed/appreciated!
Update on this girlie, top one is new. Is the pose better?

With his new book released today, i decided to do a sketch of former Australian prime minister John Howard.
thejazzman - That is extremely helpful and a great idea, I appreciate it!

What's even more sad is that this is the best drawing i've done this month.
You don't do much cartoony doodles but you totally should!
I'm pretty happy with these two, though.
blaugh
Speaking of red things that are less than what they could be.
Hork those hands. I'm actually looking for crits on this one, but I didn't want to clutter my thread so soon after making a dump.
and I ruin it by posting my livestream sketch

Whoa whoa whoa, hang on. Where are these coming from?
They're fantastic! You should draw some more cartoony stuff because wow.

What are you using to create the chromatic aberration effect? I noticed Wasser using that in one of his pictures, too.
And thanks, Paradise!
It becoming the new lens flare, honestly.
