More of a WIP than a doodle, but whatever...

Originally I was planning on doing #6, but now I'm not sure. I probably won't do #3 because the color palette is too similar to the other environment I have on my site.

All were done in charcoal and conte crayon. The last two were 20 minutes, the first two were 3 minutes each.

Throw some wakkawa, cake or bacon in there and we will officially scare everyone away from posting in this place.

Not sure if I should be posting this one as it's not published yet. Shhhhh.
I like the Robo cop too.
hmmm when posting this it appears very green....the colors seem way off...i reopened it in ps and the colors are normal...anyone know what causes that?
zergling, the first one looks almost radioactive. I think you need harder edges in the face too.
red hair ladies!
Damn Moss, Harry is looking downright evil in that.
I am trying to do an environment a day as practice
i absolutely adore robocop
and omg about what's in that spoiler!!!!
The robocop is for a charity project I am trying to organise in which artists draw celebrities and characters in the style of these old school tea towels.
It's so, so hard to draw like a child.
I have to say I'm pretty amused by the concept that her light reading is just a big coffee table book of straight-on photos of crotches.
Also now I know exactly what to get you in a hypothetical secret santa present exchanging scenario.

Red - thanks! I think I'm going to go with 5. Seemed like lots of people liked that one, and that was one of my faves, too.
Jpeg - great colors in that!
wak - I really liked these last two pieces...looked a bit more sketchy/traditional. Do you work in watercolor or ink or gouache at all? It'd look waaaaay nice, methinks.
well, Im glad somebody got the hint.
I was going to add a title, but decided the crotch star was enough. I'll save making up smut titles for the next illustration i guess.
The profile in the scar is genius.
If you're going to make a series of pictures involving girls cheekily looking at tomes of smut...that...that sure would be something.

Any criteria for who/what celebrities or characters to draw?

Zulu chick:
Eyedroppered the colours, which I know is bad practice, but I need to churn these out pretty quickly. I don't have time to learn. :P
Agreed, looking at them against a white background I can see a lot of things I didn't see before.
I've never understood why anyone would feel bad about this. You still need to be a good artist to put those colors to use. Not like you hear anyone crying foul about people working in traditional medium using the hundreds of colors at their disposal.
what
people working in a traditional medium have to train their eyes to pick the correct color
if you use a color picker to pick colors off a photo in a digital program- circumventing the traditional process- you're not training your eye, which is why it's considered bad practice
You know painters mix the colors you see on the canvas, right?

This is way awesomer. Keep it up!
I think thats my favorite thing of yours I've seen.
I hope you are not offended by this, but theres something less... uh, 'slutty' about it than the women in your other work. She seems more like a person and less like eyecandy. :^:
