there is no auto leveling for battles with 6 pokemon, and the weird three pokemon battles have a few strange conditions and only scale things down to 50 and not up

twenty steps forward, one step back except that step back also took them off a cliff and they hit all the sharp rocks on the way down and then got airlifted back up and then the ambulance crashed into a tree and they rolled out on the gurney and fell all the way down the cliff hitting all the sharp rocks again
anyway Tee Four the problem is that with a smaller number of pokemon a lot of strategies get thrown out the window. It pretty much comes solely down to who has the faster sweeper in the lead position.

i don't think there are twenty steps forward and there is definitely more than one step back
I mean, we got infinite tms, new content in the form of a story, moves, and pokemon, trading out of your PC boxes, and the dream world (which is apparently going to be shitty when they launch it a month after the game is released?)
And they got rid of having a dude follow you around, non-battle tower parts of the battle frontier, wi-fi battles that people liked
it's still a net improvement and I like the game
but it isn't groundbreaking :P
