    I've had four legitimate shineys, I think. A shiny Machop in Pearl. Two of them were Sandslash from victory road. The other was a graveler from Victory Road. I spent a lot of time in Victory Road in Leaf Green

    Yeah, I love the leveling in this game. I have a feeling that pre-E4 grinding will be minimal.

    oh, and I came across a shiney pidgey in Silver early on before I saw the Red Gyarados, and I killed it because I didn't know what the deal with those lights were.

    well, not right as soon
    I healed up at the center first

    i think chargestone cave was the segment of the game that took me the longest

    because after chargestone cave I never left town with under thirty Max Repels
