    3D was really bright for me. Took me a few minutes to get used to it, with the glasses over glasses thing but after that it was fine. Was funny listening to everyone scrambling to get their glasses back on for the post-credits scene.

    So I got out of work early and headed to my local comic shop for FREE COMIC DAY!

    And they were out. of everything. I guess the owner was on NPR yesterday and got so much publicity out of it that he ran out of stuff after 4 hours.

    On the plus side I grabbed the new Herc issue 1 and Fear Itself Issue 2, really liking where this is going, is it a good guess that
    The Yancy Street Hammer is meant for Ben?

    Also! My thoughs on Brightest Day:
    That was a lot of pointless crap we went through in the last year just to bring back Swamp Thing, Constintine, and have a DC Fantastic Four.

    Was the 3D even detectable in Thor? I can't remember a single part where I even noticed it. The trailers had better 3D than the movie ffs.

    I could've put those two dollar bills to better use as origami eyeglasses.

    Movie was pretty good though.

    I enjoyed this a lot; the script did a good job of juggling many characters

    I was also happy that
    none of the supporting characters got killed

    Saw it last night, loved it. Right up there with the first Iron Man.
    No line about how he destroyed the Destroyer?

    Can't wait for Cap. Want them to officially announce more movies, I mean geez. It's like Avengers, IM3, Runaways (when?) and a bunch of maybe's.

    If that's the case then I hope we get a date and maybe a lead actor soonish.

    One thing I really want to happen either in Avengers or a sequel is a falling out with SHIELD. The morally-grey-SHIELD-that-no-one-trusts from EMH is perfect.

    Then you'd have all sorts of drama with Widow and Barton having been former teammates. You'd have an awesome setup for Pym and Wasp to take their spots (so we can still have a girl on the team), you'd shake up Cap's perceptions of who the good guys are, and you'd be all set for a SHIELD movie featuring Fury, Hill, Coulson, Widow, and Hawkeye.

    Hire me. I realize this is a pretty easy idea to come up with, but I want the job.

    Feige also revealed that a reference to Ant-Man's alter-ego had been cut from Thor: "The only thing we took out were the words Hank Pym. It was when Selvig, Darcy and Jane are on the roof and S.H.I.E.L.D. has just taken all of their stuff. Selvig goes 'I have a friend who has had experiences with these people. Let me email him." That friend is Hank Pym. We were just like, 'Enough.'"

    I'm guessing the real reason they cut the line..

    Is because of how Edgar Wright (writer and director) wants to do the Ant-Man film. Basically he wants Pym running around in the '60s in a sort of '60s spy theme and then have Scott Lang in modern times as his successor. Perhaps Hank isn't around anymore in the Marvel Movie Universe

    But I really can't say I put Thor above Iron Man or The Incredible Hulk. It is on Iron Man 2 grounds for me. There wasn't enough fighting and changed Thor just didn't have the same spark that made arrogant Thor fun to watch. Volstagg and Heimdall were my favorites though.

    The scene with all the Asgardians
    strutting down Main Street, New Mexico really made me nostalgic for the Masters of the Universe movie.
