This was with my phone.
Those two ducklings on the left kept trying to jump in with the others because they were afraid, so they just stood there looking all concerned for a while. The mom and ducklings just kept swimming all over the place.
My uncle had a mass of about 40 goslings at one point at his farm and we could bring them out into the yard and they would just crawl all over us peeping and wanting snuggles. His german shepard would sit with us and look horrible concerned about all the little webbers' well being as they clambered all over him.

Aww. That makes up for coming across a fucked-up mountain lion video this morning after I got sucked into a vortex of animal videos that began with an Alaskan porch conclave of two cats, a fox, and a bald eagle.
I wonder if you were always around the lions like that if they would keep being cool even when they were older. Or if they just kinda hit a point where its like ok... this thing is going to fucking kill me and eat me

my cat is absolutely incorrigible
he's 14 and his sister died like a year ago and he's gotten a little neurotic since. i feed him half a can of food at like 6:30 and he has dry food all the time, but any time after 10:00 he just yowls and meows and tries to trip me, constantly jonesing for treats
it's really irritating and he's got me totally trained. when i run out of treats i have to tear up slices of american cheese and throw them to distract him while i run
i feel like i can't do anything about it though, he's old and ridiculous

I love them! They have all the advantages of baby chicks except their beaks and little webbed feet don't hurt
Also one of our cats just spent 3 minutes licking our carpet intensely

Our cat's been doing this for at least a year and a half.
There's water in the bowl, faucet's not even dripping.
Our store sells baby chicks/ducklings/goslings/whatever you can juvenile turkeys, everyweek, by the hundreds, until June.
I am constantly holding the goslings and ducklings because they are the best and they start imprinting immediately and make the best noises.
