Fun fact: the tax code only prevents tax-exempt religious organizations from explicitly endorsing a political candidate. They're free to talk about any and all political issues otherwise.

For example, the Mormons and Prop 8.

Did Cain just suggest taxing churches either way?

As a former churchgoer I am torn by whether or not this is a good idea.

Except in the situation that Lawndart stated. Fuck Proposition 8 and its backers.

Everytime Ron Paul talks about poor people facing their consequences for being poor the table rises 3 inches.

A trap is for fish: when you've got the fish, you can forget the trap. A snare is for rabbits: when you've got the rabbit, you can forget the snare. Words are for meaning: when you've got the meaning, you can forget the words.

    Bachmann going full-tilt Dominionist.

If only this wasn't Frank Luntz, he'd ask if Bachmann follows every single Biblical law and thinks those laws should be the basis for government.

Then bust out Leviticus and have a party.

Perry repeats his pointless foreign aid thing.

    35,000 a day? Really?

LOL, Perry's supporters already had to walk back his "0 dollars for Israel" line after the LAST debate, and now he's said it again.

35,000 aborted fetuses a day is A LOT.

Perry fine-tunes his xenophobic rant against foreign aid with a "don't worry, I don't mean you" to Israel.

Santorum is taking a stand against the sexual revolution and "Just Do It"

Seriously is Santorum actually 120 years old? He's still angry about the 60s.

    YOU MUST FOLLOW BIBLE LAWS

Santorum: Liberals want freedom without consequences, which is against the American tradition of liberty and rights. This is why I advocate bringing back burning witches at the stake.

Yes, laws teach people what things are immoral. Like Prohibition taught everyone that alcohol was immoral and that why there are no drunk people anymore.

Gingrich seems like he's angling for a history professor gig at Bob Jones University.

Uhhh you do remember that Lincoln had to face states saying no to the federal government.

It was called the civil war.

When the Founders conceived the Declaration of Independence, they would not stand to see their liberties aborted.

Ron Paul is now claiming that "civil liberties" are something the government can enforce on state governments?

This is the same guy who thought the Lawrence V. Texas SCOTUS ruling was wrong because states should have the right to throw gay adults in jail for consensual sodomy in their own homes.
