I couldn't find the carpool thread (if there is one) so I apologize if this is in bad taste. I'll be driving from Windsor, Ont to Boston and would like to give people a ride. My car can comfortably fit 4, but can fit 5 if need be (keep in mind that I'll be driving so that's 3-4 open spots). If you live within a 20 minute drive of Windsor and aren't afraid to leave at 10pm on the Thursday, give me a PM or just reply to the thread.
P.S: If there's a carpool thread, link me to it so I can delete this thread.

That's if you're willing to make a slight detour into southern Kitchener, of course. Have you decided on travel dates yet?
Also also, parking in Boston is stupid expensive-so ideally split that, too?

I'm going to be staying in Newton, let me know where you are going to be coming from/going and we can talk about carpooling to/from the con.
It isn't that bad actually depending on where you park. I didn't stay at the hotel but I used the convention center _valet_ and it was 20 bucks per day which really is honestly not bad. If you use one of the remote lots that you catch a shuttle bus from iirc it was 10 bucks per day. Don't quote me on that as an exact price because I didn't use that option.
I'll be staying at Boston University, but could use a ride from there to the convention center (can split parking, so we can all save).
With so many things in flux for me right now, I can't really say if Thursday afternoon works for me or not. I'll have to remember to get back to you on this in a week or two.

Anyone want to try and organize a caravan? I'm driving up from Florida. I'm debating leaving early Wednesday morning and taking my time or leave Wednesday night and go a bit faster.I'm driving from Toronto and have room for 3.

Otherwise, it's Megabus for me. But I'll throw in for gas! And my inspiring aptitude for banter of course...
So if anybody needs a ride along that route, let me know. I'll be making the same ride back in reverse EARLY Monday morning (but you're free to sleep in the car).
I have 2 seats open, gas money would be appreciated, even if it's not much - good company would be appreciated more!

I am and, as an update, none of the people who have contacted me about a ride so far have given me a definite yes that they will be needing a ride. Anyone else who needs a ride from the dc metro area to boston leaving thursday should drop me a line at chirishman@gmail.com

So somethings fell through for me last minute and now im lacking any ride up. Id like to get there Thursday and leave Monday (or anytime around them). I current live in Raleigh NC (Cary to be exact). I saw there are a few of you driving from the CNY/Syracuse area. I live in Onondaga and am looking for a ride. Totally willing to throw in for gas/tolls, and if you're looking for something to do Thursday night, can hook the driver up with an extra ticket I have for the Harmonix/GiantBomb Rock Band event at the Brattle theater in Harvard Square.
I am looking to leave Thursday and return on Monday, but can be a little flexible on those times (I saw someone was leaving Wednesday night, and another who is coming back on Tuesday). It's also not important to me to ride with the same people both ways, just looking to get to Boston and back without taking a bus if possible.
If you are one of the people who are driving from the area, or someone who can pass through, please let me know ASAP!
