Next time I'm at PAX, I'm totally asking Dan where the idea for inviting Danny to Thanksgiving came from. Like, there had to be SOME crazy conversation that lead to it.
IIRC, Danny said it came about when they went out drinking. So take from that what you will.
I am betting there was just a Dan excited puppy response to Danny saying he never did a huge thing for thanksgiving, wanting to show him "how it's done"
Dan never struck me as a Thanksgiving-y guy, but I guess he's got extended family with two sets of parents and siblings and whatnot, and they all live close together so it's probably a big fun ruckus. Makes sense that it'd be the most "American" Thanksgiving that would be immediately available to him because of his co-workers. Unless Drew is doing something with his family.
Also it's like an anthropological study. No way Danny would pass that up.
I hope we get a documentary when he gets back, David Attenborough-style.
I envision it more like one of those found footage horror movies. The last scene is Danny huddled behind Dan's covered Mortal Kombat cabinet saying his goodbyes to his loved ones.

Jeff is a visionary. Ranch is the fucking worst. It overpowers whatever you put it on and makes it horrible for you to boot.
Watching the most recent episode of MGScanlon. Drew is pretty good at this Fatman fight, a few cheap deaths not withstanding. Though it's not infuriatingly bad like other boss fights, just "stupid", as Drew says.

Seemed like for about a week or so there, Dan and Pops Ryckert were making slightly healthier life decisions. Was good while it lasted.
