I saw Hardwell live for New Years eve and had to leave early from sheer exhaustion recovering from a cold. It turn out to be the first night I slept since Tuesday.
This past Thursday I saw Perturbator in New York. He killed it, but he was already mentioned in the thread (I think?) so I won't link his stuff.
What I will link is one of the openers from the show, Computer Magic. I had never heard her stuff before and I'm really excited to see what she does going forward.

Oh hey neat, I saw computer magic open for crystal fighters like 3 years ago. She was pretty good!
I've been listening to Santigold's latest album a lot recently. I don't think I love it as much as the first two but it has some really great tracks on it (and two real stinkers but whatever). I like these ones but yeah the whole thing is worth listening to if you like her style. I think she's great, super unique.
yay! going to go see my favorite buttrocky psytranc duo tonight. Infected Mushroom. Weirdly, cause I've only seen them at Burning Man, this will be my first straight DJ set of theirs without a band.
Totally excited. i tried to see them last year, and was utterly wrecked by rave plauge from dream state.
My mom fell in love with the 'Shroom at a festival 8-10 years ago

Lot of (arguably) misspent time in my youth listening to infected mushroom (and shpongle of course). This is probably my favorite IM track if I had to pick one.
I'm a bit of an Anjunabeats / A&B fan, and I was wondering if anyone here listens to Group Therapy? Last Friday's actually coincided with Anjunabeats Volume 13, so there's some new tracks in the show. And Arty back as Alpha 9.
On that note, are there any other electronic music podcasts people would recommend? I used to listen to State of Trance for a bit, but that style has gone so far off in one direction I really don't enjoy it anymore. I'm not necessarily looking for similar things as I linked - I want to broaden my horizons a bit, and I find listening live makes me much more appreciative and open to new music, so streaming podcasts would be amazing.
I didn't get the impression from the ad that Joel believes he can help you in your new hobby.
I'm also not sure if Joel is trolling the audience or the masterclass people. Or maybe it's both.
Oh I agree wholeheartedly.

If you haven't checked out DJ Shadow's release from last year, it includes the RTJ single he produced, 'Nobody Speak', and is also otherwise excellent.

Porter is fucking brilliant and I could go to a Porter show every weekend and be happy.
Dammit now I want to see him again just because I talked about him ahhh!

Edit: embedding is hard.
Though be fair though, I'd rather listen to the opening notes of Avaritia than pretty much anything else I get.
Welp, I do need a new hobby...

The opener was a band I hadn't heard of before - machineheart - but they were really good as well.
Everyone needs some dirty beats on a Friday, right?

All great songs and really good work music (IMO).
Edit: I was going to put a Pertubator song on there, but it looks like he's covered. He's awesome.

Mat Zo is amazing. My favourite set of his is still his ABGT100 set where he followed a very experimental Andrew Bayer. Perfect style for that slot.
