cookies mailed... but as I drove off from the post office I realized I forgot to take the TJ Maxx price tag off of the container I bought for the cookies.
my cake is baking RIGHT NOW. It just needs to sit for two days.
also I'm glad I decided to do a test run on the cookies, turns out funfetti - not so fun in cookie form.
I will be sending my baked goods early next week.

HOW TACKY
I have discovered a TJ maxx price tag on the bottom of my container
thank you TiB!!! we are consuming these to the maximum extent of the law as we speak
Cookies have been baked and contained! I will be shipping them out via UPS tomorrow. They are basically chocolate held together by a mere formality of flour and butter.
So I've baked, boxed and today they get shipped to my guy and three other lovely individuals.
Just a note for those about to get cookies from me (not that you know who you are):
There are cookies in there based on some family recipe from Chelsea's side of things. These particular cookies were being a slight bit finicky and may release their gooey goodness a touch too soon (we've all been there). My apologies if you end up with a messy ziplock (no relation) bag.

Baked goods are in the mail. Estimated time of arrival 8 days. Enough people joke about "hurr hurr are they special brownies" that I was hesitant to call them that on the mailing slip, in case the customs guy processing them is similarly retarded, so my recipient is getting "baked chocolate mint squares".
I just came back from the post office. Baked goods are on their way.
Mailing cookies across the country turns out to be rather expensive! I hope they make it in one piece and I hope my cookie xxxchange people can read my chicken skritch of handwriting.

I hope my cookie person likes them!
The cookies are awesome! Can't wait to eat them all. I wish my handwriting was as good.
And St., I live to expose 'special needs' people to avoidable hazards. Now if you'll excuse me, I'll be putting down some marbles outside of the school for the blind
Cheshire sent me some delicious chocolate cookies as well as a loaf of zuchini bread. Also a delightful little card that made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. My roommates were all skeptical about eating internet cookies. I was a bit too, my reputation isn't the best.
After the first cookie though it was quite worth chowing down on the rest of them. Cheshire did a wonderful job packing everything and a wonderful job baking. All in all really Cheshire is just wonderful.

Keep up the good work. You make me proud, kid.

Oh my god these are so good
I have no idea who sent them but thanks so much!
I'll try to take some pictures tonight, assuming I don't eat them all in one sitting.
Just got my cookies from the good Dr. Ziplock and may I say, well done sir. The chocolate chip are very good, both regular and chocolate dipped, and the freezer cakes are good if a little exploded. There's a picture below of my loot and one of my cats:
What's the origin of those cakes doc? And what all's in them?

Ah, damn. I kinda figured the freezer cakes weren't going to make it there alive. Something went slightly askew in the baking of a few of the batches and we have yet to completely figure out what. The centers weren't setting regardless of bake time and all that.
The dough is a simple butter, cream cheese and flour mix. The goo is butter, vanilla, brown sugar and egg. Then some walnuts are just sprinkled on top.
The recipe is from my girl's step-mom's grandmother. If it is older than that I don't know.
Glad you liked them!
One person down and three more boxes whisking their way across the country filled with treats.
Baking is complete. just have to get em packed and then send them away.
Didgeridoo, how much chocolate is in those cookies? So much chocolate
Enough to choke a horse
Seriously though, nearly 12 ounces of bittersweet (3/4 were melted and stirred into the batter, the rest was chopped into small bits and put in that way), plus a bit of white for the decoration on top. I'm thinking maybe next time I should tone it down a bit...
Edit: I should mention that you did not receive the entire batch, because I couldn't fit them all into the container. The recipe makes about 30 cookies, so the chocolate quantity isn't QUITE as insane as it might have seemed if that were only for a dozen cookies. I mean, it's still insane, but not as much
I'm so glad you got and enjoyed them! I'm also glad the package made it one piece.
I like the description of the honey cake about bees surrounding old ukrainian street merchants for trying to sell this cake.

Extraordinary takes time
I am on my way out the door to get a tattoo but rest assured those cookies will meet a destructive demise tonight
they smell totally awesome and have chocolate in them, and soon, they will be made into my poop
what are you getting inscribed into your skin? is it a cookie?
I've never really made a batch of cookies before, though. I do have experience with making one very large cookie, though.
most cookies are pretty easy
find a recipe and make a test batch
adjust as necessary (if they burned, remove them sooner and so on)
I overdid it at the gym and moving has lost all appeal.
also I'm glad I decided to do a test run on the cookies, turns out funfetti - not so fun in cookie form.

Just grab a spoon and enjoy anyway.

Don't break a tooth biting on one, dude.

However, not being a man to let somebody down, cookies are on their way, just not baked by my hand.
