also, I found out what causes the sounds!
moans are zombies
hisses are spiders
not sure what sounds skeletons or creepers make(they probably hiss)

i used them to shingle a little house
yeah sometime last week. I love them so much except when they auto-align to some random-ass direction and you have to bust them up. Or when a block of sand or gravel falls on them and turns them into a solid block again (?!)
Also I backed up the OP when this hit 100, don't fucking tell me how to do my job.

It was fine for a while there but one of those updates bumped me back to 5fps, full fog mode
