There and Back Again: A Hobbit's Movie (BEGIN WRITING YOUR DOCTOR WHO CROSSOVER FICS)

So it looks like we're finally getting our Hobbit movies underway, with filming starting in February, and now we have some casting information as well!

Bilbo Baggins will be portrayed by none other than Mr. Martin Freeman

The rest of the Dwarves don't seem to be anybody of consequence but you can find the list here

And of course, Ian McKellen, Andy Serkis, and probably Hugo Weaving will be reprising their respective roles, and there are rumors of Sylvester McCoy (of Doctor Who fame) playing Radagast the Brown but we don't know for sure

There are also rumors of possible parts for David Tennant, James Nesbitt, Stephen Fry and Bill Nighy (rumored to be considered for the voice of Smaug)

The movie went through some trouble due to MGM's screwing of the proverbial pooch, and Guillermo del Toro left the director's seat and handed it back over to Peter Jackson (who despite what he's said in the past probably wanted to do this all along, in my opinion)

So yeah
I don't know about y'all but I'm ready to get my hobbit on again

    I always felt like he had Kidnapped Goldberry and kept her prisoner.

    Their whole thing was kinda creepy weird.

    The Hobbit: a fun to read and well written book

    The Silmirillion: a fake history textbook that's twice as tedious to read

    yes one of these is definitely going to make a better movie than the other
