Part of me feels like Tube using an alt will make people more hesitant about bidding next year.
Assuming he does it again, yeah. Seriously, this strikes me as pretty lame. I'll freely admit I didn't bid this year (I do plan to donate some money directly), but if I had I'd be kinda miffed. Seems like he should at least go along with it for a month or two. I mean I know it's for charity, and nobody's gonna feel bad about donating... but $3000? God damn.
