    This is exactly what I have done like seven times over the last two days.

    I keep saying to myself, "Well I'm planning on building my new machine over the next two months..." and oops I bought another game on Steam

    (This is more spontaneous than it sounds because actually I have to have my brother in the States log on to my account and make the purchases, as Steam hates people not living in the U.S. and will not allow me to buy or gift anything from here.)

    Also, playing TF2 on the SE server was fun. Been a while since I've played though so I died far too much. Sorry team.

    I have a question about Blood Bowl; or rather, several questions:

    1) Does it let you name the players on your team?
    2) Do your players die frequently, necessitating an ever changing roster?
    3) If the answer to both of the above is 'yes', would anyone be interested in a fantasy-themed lethal sport LP once I'm done with X-Com (possibly sometime in 2012)

    You can't name your team players (Edit: I guess you can, I'd listen to Uriel over me on this)

    Depending on what team you play players die pretty often or almost never. (Skinks in Lizardmen teams, gutter runners in Skaven, Goblins in Orc / Goblin, and halfings die pretty often.)

    I would watch a LP of Blood Bowl you do.

    Yeah, I want to do a sports team LP when I'm done with X-Com. Probably after a short break.

    But the only way it would work is if there was enough roster turnover to keep player churn going.

    It would require a couple of things:
    1) finishing X-Com
    2) owning a suitable sports game.


    Speedball 2 doesn't allow player naming, and Mutant Football League is really hard to get here. So I've been wondering about Blood Bowl.

    Bood Bowl..that's the one that's based off the Warhammer tabletop series, right?

    I remember seeing an ad for that in a PC Gamer a long time ago and thought, "Holy crap that looks like fun."

    So is it fun?

    The two closest to me are Chicago and Detroit, and they both only give me that much, which is as fast as my internet goes under any circumstance.

    But that's the actual advertised speed from our ISP, so that's as good as it gets
