244 is a weird issue to start at - that's either the very end of "Inferno", or the "Claremont makes fun of DC's INVASION crossover" issue. The Siege Perilous storyline didn't really start until 247.
Between 131 and 244? Dark Phoenix, Days of Futures Past, the Brood, the Morlocks, a bunch of Secret Wars 1-2 shit, the Kulan Gath storyline, the Trial of Magneto, Storm vs Cyclops, Nimrod vs X-Men vs Hellfire Club, Mutant Massacre, Fall of the Mutants, the X-Men go to Australia, more Brood shit, Inferno.
Well, you still get some of the Australia stuff (Wolverine vs the Reavers, aka Wolverine gets crucified, is issues 250-255 - those also feature Havok and Co vs Zaladane, and Freedom Force vs the Reavers in the battle of muir island).
131 is the White Queen issue, so like right where the Dark Phoenix Saga starts ramping up.
in between that and 244 is all of the following:
Dark Phoenix
Days of Future Past
The Starjammers
The Brood
Rogue
The Trial of Magneto
Sabretooth gutting Psylocke
Mojoworld
Fall of the Mutants
X-Men Australia
Inferno
The Starjammers were pretty awesome in the post OPERATION:GALACTIC STORM Avengers (drawn at the time by Steve Epting). Black Knight in his leather jacket vs Raza!

I've been thinking about getting the Marvel Digital Comics subscription. There wouldn't by any chance be a giant gant chart of marvel series somewhere?
Back in my day we had Uncanny X-Men, X-Men, X-Factor and X-Force, and that's the way we liked it. Had to walk to the comic store both ways in the snow etc.

all the new DC books launch in September
all of them
That's not true
There are more minis starting in October
that X-Men book is not a renumber
the renumbering happens in October when Schism ends and both Uncanny X-Men #1 and Wolverine and the X-Men #1 come out.
the 52 books in the OP are all in september
Oh ok
Will that be a good jumping on point, do you think?
Solar, just pick up UNCANNY X-FORCE. There, I have solved your X-Men jumping-on-point problem.
oh cool. gonna get hella bat books, justice league and superman/action comics. probably flash too
that would be yes
thats not until October though

is that actually the 2nd Claremont Uncanny Omnibus
That is a good deal.
yes it is

and they never did a follow up
Seems a little grim for me though. All the killing and so on is generally not my style.
Maybe I will check it out, and maybe I will check out X-Men after schism I can get in easily
what all happened in between there
I feel like that is all in trades somewhere
I am shit at issue numbers
Between 131 and 244? Dark Phoenix, Days of Futures Past, the Brood, the Morlocks, a bunch of Secret Wars 1-2 shit, the Kulan Gath storyline, the Trial of Magneto, Storm vs Cyclops, Nimrod vs X-Men vs Hellfire Club, Mutant Massacre, Fall of the Mutants, the X-Men go to Australia, more Brood shit, Inferno.
all the australia stuff is gone
well that is just shit
They've never bothered me, where are you getting this?
Well, you still get some of the Australia stuff (Wolverine vs the Reavers, aka Wolverine gets crucified, is issues 250-255 - those also feature Havok and Co vs Zaladane, and Freedom Force vs the Reavers in the battle of muir island).
I have wasted my life.
in between that and 244 is all of the following:
Dark Phoenix
Days of Future Past
The Starjammers
The Brood
Rogue
The Trial of Magneto
Sabretooth gutting Psylocke
Mojoworld
Fall of the Mutants
X-Men Australia
Inferno
that is my favorite x-men stuff
I don't care if no one loved it as much as I did
It was the best
Well maybe not those Starjammers
this runs from the end of Inferno right up to the issue before X-Tinction Agenda starts
so I mean there's still plenty of good stuff in there, I just dont know why that other stuff hasn't been collected properly yet.
they are the same
Back in my day we had Uncanny X-Men, X-Men, X-Factor and X-Force, and that's the way we liked it. Had to walk to the comic store both ways in the snow etc.
I just think they look pretty silly in comparison to the X-Jammers in War of Kings
