Oh my lord. I just remembered that one of the characters in Pup Named Scooby Doo, a red-haired "villain"-type who Fred always blamed the mysteries on was named Red Herring.
pup named scooby doo was surprisingly self aware, yeah

Also I still say that I have never heard or thought of an rpg in the terms Viv is saying the industry definition is. That a game is not strictly an rpg if you are allowed to make up your own roles.
(at this point I guess I am ignoring her article nd focusing on this one point because I am interested in the fact that this is a concept that is completely foreign to me)
I'm going through the most horrifically dense collection of mission statements right now and I'd love to read something that isn't in carefully vague motivational corp-speak
It's hard but not in a way that would prevent people who are bad at games from beating it. Like it doesn't take crazy reactions or skills, it just takes some thought and patience. Like rushing in and being unconscious is what gets you killed, and not being unable to time something ridiculous.

Pretty happy with it, going to ask a few people to see what they think.

If you need me, i will be wallowing in self pity. and drinking.
And I didn't learn about this till May 7, when I was checking online about Kevin Pereira leaving G4 and saw the blurb about Sessler.
To me, this was inevitable. And I have a long monologue about G4 and their antics.
But I think it would be awesome if Sessler was hired by Penny Arcade to MC the PAX's.
I want to give Skyrim a shot but it's basically still full price and right now I don't feel like dropping that money
I hear Dark Souls was pretty good?
Sounds hard though
is it necessary to play the first one or can I skip straight to 2?
it's not necessary but you should anyway
Also Dark Souls is really good.

Diablo III?
Never played any of them

I'll shoot you a guest pass (if digital downloads get them) so you can try it out before dumping $60.
In the meantime you should play and beat portal1 and 2!

i'm thinking of buying d3 so that me and buttlady can play it together but that's about it
I think I'll just go for 2
