I think it's hyper-shitty to do it to AJ for obvious reasons, but CM Punk chants stopped being about CM Punk a while ago. Just like Randy Savage or Sergeant Slaughter, it's just a thing that people chant when they are bored or want to be assholes now. That and "What?" and other annoying chants aren't going to go away, regardless of what happens with Punk.
The thing that amazes me about "what?" is that reference is old enough to drive a car now.
There are thousands of fans at WWE shows who do that and weren't even alive when the origin of the catchphrase occurred. They don't even know the context of why they're being assholes.
If the whole #Axelmania thing leads to him becoming US Champion I will retract all statements about how badly he's been booked during it, because that would be the exact right way to get the belt off Rusev and reward Axel for finally getting over with something.
1) Silence 2) Books must be returned by the last date shown 3) Do not interfere with the nature of causality
if rusev must fall, it could be to worse than the perfectplex
If Axel somehow does get the US title next week it will be due to Cena beating the ever loving shit out of Rusev before or during the match and Axel pinning him afterwards.

Yeah the majority of the crowd last Monday was still booing him compared to Cena. Not that I'm against giving him another chance but let's not talk crazy yet.
I'M NOT FINISHED WITH YOU!!!

CM Punk cashing in his Money in the Bank briefcase is still the second best use of that.
Edge after New Years Revolution will always be the top one.
Edge during that Smackdown was actually the best because he literally won the briefcase from Mr. Kennedy that same week and it directly led to the main event of Wrestlemania 24 (just really good long-term booking here).
I'm only like half way done but it's quite cool as Mick isn't actually talking much about wrestling and is instead focusing more on what he's done since wrestling and his childhood in a more general way. Apparently he wrestled in highschool with comedian Kevin James.
Also in other podcasting news the newest Radiolab ep is about The Montreal Screwjob. I have NOT listened to this but apparently it features Russo so that has to be hilarious:

The Radiolab thing is interesting in that it's trying to explain the Montreal Screwjob to people who wouldn't know the Million Dollar Man from the Six Million Dollar Man, but I don't think you'll really get anything out of it if you're anything more than the most casual of casual fan.

Yeah I'm getting that show, although it isn't listed on their web page yet. And I'll always have a soft spot for Jay Bradley because of his DSW run I witnessed live and naming his finish the Boomstick lariat.
Reading that reminds me of something Daniel Bryan said in his Mania doc regarding how lucky he felt to make it as far as he did because there are so many others who worked just as hard as him and got jack shit to show for it.

Is there a WORST cash in of the briefcase of all time?
My vote would go to Sandow.
For obvious reasons.

As it should be.

Now I'm just imaging HHH saying "I don't even. I can't." And it's beautiful.

never saw the young bucks before... that was one of the best tag matches I've ever seen (though unconventional)
the ring awareness of everyone involved was beyond what I've ever expected and it was just super fresh and crisp
but my heart belongs to team best friends

More scripted than the Austin podcast but still a very candid look at Vince. Plus seeing Russo and Cornette together for that long is hilarious.

I meant to say that it seemed like a skit compared to the Austin thing. The podcast seemed totally unscripted to me.

Yeah, the Young Bucks are pretty terrible.

LuFisto had some stuff to say about it which is kind of heart breaking but also a pretty good insight I guess.
but if Kimber Lee is having fun then I support her 100%
I'd like to see Charlotte get the World, US, or IC title before it's all over and if hardcore spots making the rounds inspire that then awesome
