So my TRU, being one of the smaller stores in our district, just got 52 Greninja in. Looking at how many Jiggly Target is getting, it looks like this round of store exclusives is going to be a bit easier to get. I'll keep an eye on the inventory for other stores just to be sure.
Orders my silver Mario, still waiting on confirmation for the gold one... I currently have 7, but I feel like my cat would like more things to knock off the shelf.

Aren't they being released on the 29th? That's a bit early to get them. Would have expected the shipment to arrive next week.
I think they came this early last wave. But also last wave stores were just selling them at totally different, random times because they didn't have an official street date in most cases (basically selling them as they got them). But like, I think TRU was the first to sell any wave 3 and I'm guessing if there was an official date, it would have been more around when Best Buy was selling stuff, a few weeks later.
so I decided to break my $20 limit. there was a Japanese Villager on Amazon with prime shipping for $27.
Why the hell not. It's the last wave 1 figure I needed.
I don't think you've done anything wrong I would have done the same thing in fact, however, I do think it's funny how quickly you rationalized your purchase.

$27 isn't that bad honestly. Though I'm assuming the reprint will eventually hit here like Marth did too (but that's also assuming you would have been able to get one and you'd want to wait that long)
I only need Rosalina, Lucario, and Dedede now to be completely up to date.
I have been hearing a lot of rumblings about possible Lucario and Dedede restocks at TRU possibly hitting on the 29th. Though I imagine stock is going to vary by location.
Lucina arrived from Japan today. She looks pretty good! Teensy drop of mis-applied beige paint on her hair, but her sword is straight and her face looks good. The stand up stick doesn't look good from the back, but is pretty uninvasive from the front.

Somewhere official looking, I remember seeing that the amiibos also unlock the minigames. And like, one minigame each. And then I felt a ting of annoyment because I wasn't terribly plussed by the jump one that's in the demo, but really dug the DDR rhythm game that was shown in the Direct. Which is probably naturally going to be one of the unlockable.

Yeah the Japanese restock has dropped the prices alot on Mac, Falcon, and Villager into the $25-27 range. (with Prime shipping too)
