The one I'm most concerned about now is Rosalina. It's amazing that she can sell so well but Target will apparently not be getting any restocks of her. It just makes no sense.

So yea, if anyone else is willing to help me with that, it would be amazing. Somewhere Nintendo mucked up this entire line of figures. When in the US you can't find any of them but a few then in Germany they have row after row of figures. Blech!

The best deal I found was on eBay, for an Ike amiibo. It was roughly the same price as you would find on the German or French amazon websites, but slightly cheaper because of the shipping costs to the US.

Soooooo, my Gamestop pre-order of Dedede, Mega Man and Sonic is now posted as "closed," which means it's either been shipped or cancelled. Allegedly those three aren't going to be out for a while, so I'm kinda worried now.

Except Rosalina. We don't have a retailer for her in Canada yet but worst case scenario my friend has an extra imported one that he'll give me if I can't find my own.

Codename Steam has amiibo support, but i'd be upset if Fire Emblem 14 didn't also have stuff for those figures to do. Even if it were as simple as the Hyrule Warriors style give an item or cash injection once per day, and then the four Fire Emblem amiibos could make good units that would last for the duration of a battle.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: If Nintendo had come out with these like 5 or 6 years ago when I was single and (seemingly) unlimited income: My house would be FULL of Amiibos. Right now I'll get one or two (I have Link and Zelda... And have Toon Link on preorder at Amazon) or three... maybe 5 at MOST.

I just hope the FE figures have a decent enough run that you can get them without camping out or importing.

Okay, so the wife got home from work and was like "lets go to the city for supper!" So I called Target to see if they had Rosalina in stock since we were going to be driving by it. Turns out they had 8 or 9, the website is just wrong. For whatever reason their system refused to believe they had more than zero Rosalinas.

Grabbed Bowser too while we were there. Wasn't high on the list of wants, but since we have to drive a minimum of 40 miles to find a place that even stocks amiibos...

Every time I go to the store and see an amiibo, I think, "it this supposed to be a rare one?" and am always tempted to buy it. It is never a rare one I just want an excuse to buy an amiibo but I am strong and will not

When Zelda and Little Mac came out I saw them at Walmart and thought "hm these might be rare" and I bought them and I have never seen another Little Mac since.

Also I managed to get Rosalina from bestbuy.ca after Future Shop sold out withtin seconds.

Are North American Shulk and Lucario a lost cause if I didn't preorder them? I've gotten all of my amiibos at retail price so far, but I'm thinking I will absolutely need to import these two, unless Lucario gets restocked and Gamestop finds a bunch of Shulks a year from now.

Shulk will be harder because of Gamestop's horrible practices.

But that should be the standard, especially for games that use rare amiibo! Like, if they ever make Punch-Out U I fully expect a Little Mac bundle to come with it.

I've resorted to ordering my retail exclusive Amiibos overseas (except Shulk, which I was lucky to snag a pre-order on). It does hurt a little, but I I was spending way too much time scouring the internet and dropping by bestbuys/toys r us, etc...

My problem is that after spending that much on them (usually a bit over double once shipping is taken into account) I have a hard time opening them. So all my retail exclusive ones are just sitting in their boxes mocking me.

I had assumed the purpose of the retailer exclusives was to get people into the stores to buy other things while getting their Amiibo. I really don't understand why they would have under produced them or made most of them only available online.

I was excited for Amiibos until I found out that trying to get anything other than like 5 of them means I have to quit my job to camp out stores at 6am or be online at the exact right time for the 15 second window before everything sells out.

Now I just don't give a shit. I'd probably have bought all of them too.

From the sounds of it, Wave 3b actually is out in stores. Ike/Dedede/Sonic/Mega Man are being found in different places all over the country, but most stores are getting 3 of each.

The box they come in seems to only hold 3(two facing each other, and one back to back). At least, the Zelda box I saw at Best Buy when I got her was packed like that. So it means that most stores are only getting one box of the figures. Which sucks big time.
