Calling this a good game. Tier 4 US destroyer, sat in cover behind an island and capped their base, while dropping torps at enemy ships just as they rounded the island because they were spotted by my team so I knew they were coming.
Sunk one battleship and two cruisers. While sitting still capping their base.
A lot of the uproar re: wonder woman seems to be that people, including staffers are stupid and do not understand the UN's ambassador programs, which I did not either but learned about in approx 30 seconds.
Honorary Ambassadors are not real. Winnie the Pooh is also one.
REAL Ambassadors are GOODWILL Ambassadors
that STAFFERS don't understand the difference is
well
typical of bureaucracy I suppose.
They understand the difference just fine. The problem is with that she is very sexualized, very white, and American.
The only issue with her fictional nature is that a fictional ambassador makes this issue look not at all serious. Winnie the Pooh was ambassadors of Friendship, which while important is clearly not on the level of importance of equality and empowerment for women and girls.
It's amazing how many people in World of Warships there are that know there's a destroyer behind an island but surely he can't know they were coming and have pre-fired torps to hit them just as they get line of sight to me?

As a destroyer a competent enemy is your greatest weakness.

Especially in a US or Russian DD. Nearly all their DDs have torpedoes with a range way shorter than the destroyer's spotting range.
Then again, US/Russian DDs play more like gunboats and torpedoes are just a situational extra bonus.

I don't think I've ever been sunk by a destroyer in world of warships
keeping people at range is a tactic that just appeals to my soul
(so in that sense the artillery was a good match for me)
My brother, who has been shunted from third party outsourced call center to third party outsourced call center for the last decade, has lucked into now being employed by the Civil Service

Honorary Ambassadors are, by definition, madeup characters (see my previous posts)
Humans are Goodwill Ambassadors
they are literally two separate titles

I use the ancient Chinese technology known as "don't sail in a straight line" to magically dodge 90% of torpedoes.
