Probably not, some folks just don't cook much and gordon ramsey is making zero effort to explain carefully, the time limit and cameras probably don't help much
Its funny but about as genuine an attempt to teach cooking as those videos where somebody cracks an egg onto the counter and slaps it around

Is.. is that a genre.....?

And remember that every time something goes wrong Shane has to take like ten seconds to go "wait shit what just happened what was I supposed to have done oh god how do I fix this" meanwhile Gordon is already rattling off the next step.
Technically you probably COULD develop a routine to teach someone who has next to no cooking experience how to make great crabcakes, but it would definitely take more effort on Gordon's part to be very clear and methodical on the instructions. And he might have to pre-dice the pepper or something because that's seriously going to take like a quarter of the time right there if you're not comfortable with a knife.

Ramsey is going at full pace and basically explaining as he would to a culinary school student, not a person who doesn't know how to cook.
He's a pretty famously terrible verbal communicator, though. I seriously can't watch his videos because of how he talks.

A trap is for fish: when you've got the fish, you can forget the trap. A snare is for rabbits: when you've got the rabbit, you can forget the snare. Words are for meaning: when you've got the meaning, you can forget the words.
Yeah, I chatted at them a few times back when I still played Overwatch, but my ability in Korean is really basic, well below my ability in Japanese, and my Japanese is still fairly rudimentary. Meanwhile, my youngest brother recently went off to the National Guard to take a comprehensive Korean course from the Defense Language Institute, so I'm gonna have to dig out my old textbooks if I don't want to fall behind.
I'm not even up-to-date on if Starcraft is still a thing. I last played over six years ago, and then I came across someone commenting on one of my replays, apparently chosen at random. I bought both Starcraft 2 expansions but never even finished the campaign of the main game. Maybe everyone in Korea went back to playing Starcraft 1 exclusively.

That seems like it might be the case actually. SC1 is having a big resurgence.

So, after several months of picure/video/audio editing, going back and forth with actors, and making a lot of creative decisions, this video.... is done.
Ooof. This is the most work I've ever spent on a single video before. I'm very proud of how it came out.
sonic boom is mostly just an average cartoon but every so often they'll go meta with sonic's weird place in popular culture and when they do it's usually fantastic
cause I really like the straw design especially cause its even better than the one I was mentally sketching out between the problem statement and the straw reveal

The whole premise is that he's a beginner, and he's trying to keep up with a world-renowned specialist at something fairly complex.
The video is functionally the same as having a fresh new apprentice bicycle mechanic and an experienced Formula 1 technician rebuild an engine from scratch in about an hour.

The straw design I was mentally sketching out between the problem statement and the S.T.R.A.W. reveal was just mixing the bloody shake before you put the cream on top.

Yes.....and no
Just lately with the really causally racist stuff said in Overwatch it's interesting to talk around people in Korean

apparently a lot of stuff in the Sonic Boom cartoon is super weird and self-aware too, like an episode about a Sonic fan finally meeting Sonic.

A sci-fi movie trailer for a new pork burger? I dunno.
hey, i don't know anything about this comic or whatever, and don't really watch this sort of thing, but that was alright!
Jesus, this thing has layers.
It's also a thousand times more clever than anything Fallon has done recently.
No, I don't think so.
