I like to hang out with 4 or 5 great people, eat some delicious food and tell stories over white russians and other mixed drinks.
this
except i always forget about white russians and usually stick with beer/g&t/vanilla vodka & coke
but hows the bars all the way up there
sydneys got this thing where it seems like bars have to be big and lacking in character to make up for high liquor license fees
theres some good places around, but im hoping for like small little boutique bars or whatever you wanna call them
i think the best looking bar ive chanced upon just walking through the streets was this japanese place that looked real fucking classy and chill and quiet. they wouldnt let us in cos apparently it was booked by some group that was about to come in
i dunno if thats true tho cos i looked it up and turns out its a hostess bar where you pay like $80 just to sit down and then the money must flow as you pay for overpriced drinks while the hopefully good looking girls who sat down with you and are paid to keep you company probably just try to get you liquored up and even looser with your wallet
on the other hand you could probably get them liquored up pretty good if you wanted to
Macro, aren't you also from Florida? I guess we know all about this.
All we're missing is arod_77 and some of TWB folk, and the whole community's in attendance.
I am from Ohio.

Do you enjoy a quiet drink down the local pub or do you prefer going to a club where you're surrounded by underage people and idiots?
If I'm by myself I like to read a book or comic or the paper at a coffee shop with a good atmosphere. That or just a walk around downtown or to the library, which is why I'm excited to move closer to the city later this year.
But if I'm with others I'm up for most anything.
One thing I'd actually like to do is view one of the burlesque shows here in Seattle, which are supposed to be pretty fun, but I'd prefer to have a date and some friends to go with.

Well see, in Brisbane City, you've got two distinct entertainment districts. You've got the City, and the Valley. The city is where all the suits drink after they get out of court and Douches go to pick up orange chicks. You pretty much wanna avoid it if possible.
The Valley, on the other hand, is mostly cool little bars or restaurants, lots of live music, jazz and such, awesome little quiet cocktail bars. Although lots of douches also come to the Valley, but you can avoid them if you know where not to go.

My mistake. Not sure where I got that idea from.
Most of our rednecks vacation in Florida. You probably saw me huddled in a pack of rabid fishermen with mullets and sleeveless shirts.
I was the one with the confederate flag tattoo on his forehead.
To see fishermen, I'd have to be near the beaches; I try to stay as far away from them as possible.

awesome steakhouse, and it's down the street from an awesome 4 room club/bar/lounge. there's a downstairs bar, a sports bar, a lounge, and a club area

man it's just i love travelling and you get to do like all of it and it's not fair goddammit
if i won the lotto i would buy a jet and learn to fly
then i would jet around the world
you should invest any hypothetical lotto winnings in developing electric jet aircraft. or something.

The game was tough as hell. I rented it like 3 times and never beat it.

Gainesville ain't so bad--I think enough of it to be moving there in a month or two
Hey I'm moving back up there in a few months too.
Connecticut is like, a state below Boston.
It's always a good time.
Move before it's too late.
Aren't you that creepy guy?
Maybe that was someone else
..what did you say? I was too busy watching you undress.
