He looks a good player, from what I've seen. Just about the only guy on form for the Croats in the Euros (well, him and Olic).
Of the two new natural playmakers coming into the premiership this year, I'd say he's the better. For all Deco's experience and perhaps greater natural ability, Modric's workrate makes him the more exciting prospect.
Whereas Deco can make things happen up front, Modric will run the whole game for you. He's a lot like Fabregas to be honest, small but hungry, and with surprising strength in the tackle.
I predict very good things for Spurs this season.
Well that’s very good to hear, I hope they can at least pretend to compete for a top 6 finish this year, which would be amazing. As far as I know Keane is vice Captain I believe, so these transfer rumors happen every year then I take it? That makes me feel a lot more comfortable about the situation.

It still feels wrong to be saying it, but Fifa is superior.

I only have a PC so I can only comment on the PC versions of the two, and Pro Evo was superior last year. I've heard that it was an abortion on the 360 last year, though.
I was thinking it might work if we get Sensi Soccer free off gametap and then use a virtual lan to set up the games since there's no real multiplayer option.

It's a combination of that and the pc version of fifa being shithouse comared to the console version.
Assuming you are referencing Our Favourite Ex Keeper.
Don't worry about Keane, worry about The 'Tov, apparently it seems he wants out. There was talk he was the reason you can afford to buy what you bought....
Just pointing out, they have a Jewish fan base, but they're not a Jewish club per say, and when ever I think of Spurs I think of Bosnich being a little tosser.
Speaking of which, he is on trial at Central Coast. The new Aloisi.

The feeling is mutual, Mark.
I haven't played for a couple of years but Fifa used to always suck beyond measure compared to PE. Nice if they have raised the bar since PE never had any decent licenses.

PES on the PC is the usual way to go. However, the last one was a step down in gameplay from 2007. For me at least. And there's less to do in Master League in terms of modifying your club.

Drogba would most prob stay in Chelsea, no club is really stepping up to get his signiture. But if he really does go, I guess it would for Inter.
As a avid fan of Chelsea since Glen Hoodle, I really dont feel much that Lampard is not signing the contract. Chelsea have currently these players that can play in center midfield Essien, Ballack, Obi Mikel, Deco and Lampard. I know there aint a good replacement but a Essien, Ballack, Deco midfield trio is making me drool.
I remember back in the N64 days for FIFA 99 you could do this move where your player would fall face down forward to fake a foul. It rarely worked but I managed to get a penalty with it in some major tournament.

I had ISS for that system. It was awesome but not terribly realistic and there were some really cheap goals to be had.

Woah, my local team's captain is retiring. He's been with us for ten years and he was captain for the entire time that I've been a fan. I still have a picture I got with him and the league trophy back in 02. This is depressing.
The only other time I've actually been affected by a footballer retiring was Ole Gunnar

Well that's scary, God I hope they know what they are doing this year, I just what them to beat Arsenal at home this year to be honest.

Yeah... honestly that was out there. Other than money, is there a reason?
At Milan he "only" makes 6.5.
