Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it, follow these directions. If you don't, he'll break your legs! Hahaha! Seriously though.
Our rules have been updated and given their own forum. Go and look at them! They are nice, and there may be new ones that you didn't know about! Hooray for rules! Hooray for The System! Hooray for Conforming!

Ugh, I know. Summers can be awful, even by the coast.

It tends to be, but it's a little colder on average then I'd like. And the heater needs to be turned on for a little bit some days.

She didn't act or appear nuts at all (leading up to it) which is what threw me off. We really click, get each other's jokes, etc.- but in a totally platonic way, or at least I thought. And it's super super slow so we're both taking our break at the same time and just talking and laughing in the backroom, and the conversation dies down and she just starts to make small talk from a chair while I'm walking around and then WHAT THE FUCK?

I mean I have to discuss it with her eventually, I guess, I don't even know what to say or do. It definitely wasn't a joke on her part, and I'm definitely not interested. Where to go from here... I don't know.

A reference other then our own for all our cultural and civilizational problems. I mean we'd be able to answer, on a collective scale, if our behavior is a product of being us or if it's universally applicable. Be able to study how a consciousness entirely unlike our own sees the world.

And have someone else to talk to.

Yeah I think this is what would actually happen. Scientists would have a field day essentially - massive programs of cultural exchange just so we can read their biology textbooks and the like.

I really enjoy subtle, creepy movies.

The Last Winter is slow, creepy, suspenseful, and well acted.

I thought it was one of the best horror films released in the last few years.

However, a lot of people disagree with me. Especially after I hyped it up. It plays against the classic horror stereotypes.

Very much an "art house horror".
