My skill at spying seems to fluctuate alot. Sometimes I can get in the groove and stab 3-4 people and get away. Sometimes everytime I try to run cloak I get hit by random projectiles/fire and never can get behind the enemy. It can be very disheartening at times, but when your doing good its so much more rewarding than shooting rockets or pipes into people all day.
I'm a terrible spy. I just can't seem to get the hang of it. I always looks so suspicious and end up getting killed. When I finally get the oppertunity to stab someone I panic, miss then end up dead.

Am I the only one who has way better results with the new multi-core support?
The old one gave me shitty results but the new patched one melts my face off with smooth fps.
Granted I have my settings fairly low and have not tried to push it yet to higher detail levels yet.

Goldrush is one of the best maps for defensive spy, you just can't go through that chokepoint when it's an actual chokepoint. Most of the time offense doesn't want to have everyone funnel through there, but rather through all three of their options.

Man CS:S brings back memories. I still remember some noob (Job IIRC) coming into the thread and starting this Zombie server (before they were cool) that was pretty much the best thing ever and I am still angry that he got fed up and shut down the server.
I played a few games so far on the PA servers. I bought the game on steam a week and a half ago and I've never played a lot of shooters so I'm still quite noobish. My aim is not very good so I've found that usually I'm most useful to the team as a medic.
It's the class I play the most by far, but I do like switching to a different class once in a while. I've barely touched engineer because this seems like the kind of class that requires good knowledge of map layouts to be effective.
