Who needs libraries anyway?

Because Pennsylvania's state legislature is a bunch of screw-ups and Philadelphia's city government is a worse than useless, the city's planning on laying off 3000 city workers. That would include laying off and closing THE ENTIRE PUBLIC LIBRARY SYSTEM, including me. They'll also be laying off 700ish cops, a bunch of firefighters, and various other "non-essential" personnel.

Yeah, don't move to Philly any time soon. You guys got any local government or economy related horror stories?

    They raised the state tax on alcohol. Good thing everyone just skips over the state line to NH to buy it for cheap. Including the representatives who voted for the tax hike.
