According to their registration process you can request either a king or a double double room for 2 people, however your request is NOT guaranteed. If you book a room for 2 at Sheraton and plan on having 4+ people, keep in mind you may only end up with one bed!

NOTES: I'm going to call the Sheraton to inquire about staying at a government rate hopefully less than the 169. I'm a late sleeper and a night owl so I will be out exploring the city and night life. Very rarely will return to room earlier than 1 am. If you are a homebody and a light sleeper, then you may wish to look elsewhere. If you are over 21 and enjoy a good ale, excellent seafood, and checking out Bah-stan females then feel free to tag along.

*notes: this is a quiet sleeping/crash room. There will be plenty of other places to do other things. It's also an actual "quad occupancy" deal so that's why there's slightly more cash involved. If you're looking to minimize extraneous bullshit other than meeting three random pax-goers and don't mind slightly more expense, this is possibly the room for you.

Notes: Coming in Thursday around 4-5pm (in theory) from NY. I requested two double beds, but as an above poster noted, it's not guaranteed. But I'm sure we'll figure it out. I found some guys willing to share with me for PAX 2009 and I had a fantastic time so I'm happy to do it again, this time taking on the hosting responsibility. Notes: 23 yr/o from Pittsburgh. My grad school program eats up a ton of time, so depending on projects I might not arrive until Friday (hopefully no later). I'm posting here now because I'm worried there might not be non-super expensive space left by the time I know what my workload is. I don't need much space and won't have much stuff (flying) - a spot on the floor is fine with me (looking for something cheap!). This is my first PAX so I plan on staying out late and making lots of new friends!
I shower, wear clean clothes, don't snore, don't smoke and enjoy long walks on the beach!
Another concern: I want to fly out Sunday night, but unless I pay for a hotel room that night, I will have to check out in the afternoon, meaning I won't have a place to store stuff. Is there a secure location to store things (a duffel bag of clothes) at PAX or some other solution to this problem besides carrying it everywhere?

Hell, I've had a hotel hold bags for me when I wasn't even a guest there (Sheraton next to WSTCC). I wouldn't worry about that service not being available.
