I leave civilian ship A where it is, I move civilian ships B-E to the port quarter, move civilian ship F to the port bow, and leave civilian ship G where it is.
Movement Step: Remain at Communications Action Step: Activate Communications; Move Civilian Ships B-E to Port-Quarter (5 o'clock), move Civilian Ship F to Port-Bow (7 o'clock), keep Civilian Ships A and G at current locations.
Dee works the communication lines to move the civilian ships out of harm's way.
Crisis Step: Food Hoarding in the Fleet
President Gaius Baltar (Hylianbunny) must choose:
A) -1 Morale and roll a die. If 3 or less, draw 1 Civilian Ship and destroy it. OR -2 Food
After Crisis: Activate Raiders, Advance Jump Preparation
There's also that new politics card that protects you from resource loss if you play it instead of moving. A good way to use that is to play it, declare it for population, then XO Cain and have her use her OPG.
President Gaius Baltar (Hylianbunny) must choose: A) -1 Morale and roll a die. If 3 or less, draw 1 Civilian Ship and destroy it. OR -2 Food
Risk Roll: 3, one civilian ship is drawn and lost: -2 Population.
With rumors of food and water lost in the recent basestar attacks, the people begin to hoard food. The President tries hard to enforce quotas, but things do not go as planned, resulting in loss of life and morale.
After Crisis: Activate Raiders, Advance Jump Preparation
Aft (3 o'clock) Raiders attempt to take down Kat.
Movement Step: Move to Aft (3 o'clock) of Galactica Action Step: Play Piloting 3 - Maximum Firepower to attack the three raiders.
Attack 1: 7, Hit.
Attack 2: 8, Hit.
Attack 3: 5, Hit.
No targets remain for final attack.
Apollo swings over to support Kat, taking down the pursuing Raiders in a shower of bullets. Out of the corner of his eye, he notices that Galactica is still venting precious supplies into space...
Crisis Step: Water Sabotaged
Current player Lee Adama (Varcayn) must choose:
A) Skill Check [13] Politics + Leadership + Tactics
Pass: No effect.
Fail: -2 Food. OR -1 Food.
After Crisis: Activate Raiders, Advance Jump Preparation

With the fleet's combined support, the breaches in Galactica's hull are repaired, preventing any further loss of resources.
After Crisis: Activate Raiders, Advance Jump Preparation
Two raiders are launched from the Starboard-Bow (11 o'clock) Basestar.
Jump Preparation advances to Level 5 - Jump is possible, with potential loss of a small amount of population. Turn 8: Admiral Helena Cain (Doctorstrongbad)
There's a one in three shot you're not on our side. Baltar and I are the other suspects.
Obviously, I'm going to say I didn't do it, and statistically speaking, well, DA has an Agenda card that has a one-in-three shot of hating us. Baltar has two loyalty cards, which makes it twice as likely to be him as me.
I'm tempted to say we should airlock Baltar just to see where he stands...
He has a one in three shot of being with us, not two in three.
Hostile Agenda Cards:
Show Their True Nature: Cylon Victory & He ends in the Brig or Detention or has been executed.
Reduce them to Ruins: Cylon Victory & 4 Locations are damaged & Morale is 3 or less.
Siege Warfare: Cylon Victory & Every resource is red.
Genocide: Cylon Victory & Food and population are 2 or less.
Mutual Annihilation: Human Victory & He has played a Super Crisis.
Grant Mercy: Human Victory & Population or morale or food is 2 or less.
Confusingly the three of you all openly played positive cards into the previous Colonial Day check, when two morale instead of two food was at stake.
And I'm against airlocking anyone over one negative card when we have three plausible suspects. For all we know it's Cavil fucking with us and we end up just wasting time, cards, and morale.

I'd really like to be XOing the Admiral or a pilot, but we need to get those civvies out of the way.

The President can always give a speech to raise morale.
I don't think the count there is accurate; I think we were supposed to start with more than eight.
Really? I thought we did start with eight food?
We started with 8 food, and lost 1 to the most recent basestar attack, giving us a total of 7.
Choosing option B here would drop us to 5 food, which is a low number for so early in the game, hence my original comment.
That is the best human choice. :P
And we may end up losing a food, anyhow. Though, it is one less ship we have to get off of New Caprica.

I still think we should do it.
Option A.
3 small cards since I likely won't need them between now and my turn.
Keep in mind the DD is 1 LEA, 1 POL or ENG, 2 PIL at this point, IIRC.

Doctorstrongbad, what's your skill draw going to be?
I knew the instant I took a risk with the DD I'd be accused of shenanigans.
