Humanoid skull found on Mars?

Human Skull found on Mars?

There is flowing water on Mars. A human skull has been found on the surface.

The first statement is confirmed by NASA. Recent images prove that the Red Planet has flowing water, or at least a flowing mixture of ice & slush.

The human skull, has not yet been confirmed. Thankfully, images speak for themselves so you can decide for yourself. The below image was taken by Mars Rover Spirit during Sol 513.

mars_1-102-skull-context-view.jpg

Is this a humanoid skull? At first glance it definitely seems so. The striking similarities deserve a closer look. Here is another view:

mars_2-102-skull-closer-views.jpg

Notice the smooth rounded shape on the forehead, the dark eye sockets, the bone bridge between the evenly distanced eye holes, the nose shape and opening for the mouth. All of this suggesting an anatomically correct humanoid skull.

However - it's not so perfect. While the upper portion of this object certainly is consistent, disturbingly consistent, with that of a human skull - the bottom half looks somewhat unnatural. Not something you would expect to see on a genuine artifact such as this.

NASA Is Hiding The Whole Picture

According to Mars expert, J. P. Skipper, this particular Mars scene is evidence of image tampering by NASA, "For me, what makes this even more reportable as anomalous evidence even more than its general look is the fluffy image tampering applications clustered around the base of the object. This darker bulky obscuring area isn't rocks and/or shadow as one might at first presume, it is image tampering giving it this false bulky look in those spots." Skipper continued, "Note the diffuse fluffy fuzzy quality that are these darker tampering areas. This is typical of false artificially added information as compared to real solid particulate surfaces like the real ground level bone (skull) or artificially worked statue head material that are of course as hard surfaces much more solar light reflective. For me, it is these image tampering applications partially obscuring this object that gives much more credence to this being something someone did not want us to be able to adequately recognize."

Why Would NASA Cover Up Significant Mars Findings? There are theories, that Mars is teeming with interesting activity. Bodies of fresh water, aquatic life, ancient structures, Pyramids, and possibly even current extraterrestrial activity. And that NASA knows this. Justification of a coverup, it would seem, perhaps lies in the interest of money, politics, and a tyrannical agenda to keep the public in the dark about significant space discoveries. No smoking gun evidence has yet come forward about a Mars coverup, but based on NASA UFO activity & their subsequent refusal to comment on this, we can draw our own conclusions about their Martian intentions.

Ok, firstly, lets put on our Skeptics hats. I guess something like this could be classed as "photoshopped", but we can't really know for sure at the moment. Plus, NASA haven't commented on the thing yet. Also, it could just be pure coincidence and it's a special looking rock.

However, could you imagine if it were confirmed that it was actually a humanoid skull?
It would definitely be the most exciting discovery for us since sliced fricking bread.
What kind of repercussions could this have on our society? Would religions be turned upside down and discarded?

    Dude. Rock formation.

Humanoid skulls aren't exactly all that different from pock-filled boulders.

Also, the nose pokes out too much. Because the nose is made of cartilege and can't be fossilized, you don't really get a nose on a human skull (at least not one that defined).

Nah. They say 'humanoid.' Which, yes, includes humans, but totally suggests things that aren't human when used outside a sci-fi novel.

Pac Man's character is difficult to explain even to the Japanese -- he is an innocent character. He hasn't been educated to discern between good and evil. He acts more like a small child than a grown-up person. Think of him as a child learning in the course of his daily activities. If someone tells him guns are evil, he would be the type to rush out and eat guns. But he would most probably eat any gun, even the pistols of policemen who need them.

I reckon the martians just left that rock there to mess with our heads. They're probably standing behind the rover right now laughing at the confused messages being sent back to Earth.

That's what I was thinking. If they actually found a humanoid skull, I doubt we'd actually hear about it at some point during the next 50 years. At least.

The article in the OP actually suggests that NASA has covered it up and that the reason the bottom of that "skull" doesn't look like a real skull is because it was photoshopped by NASA before they released the photo.

Things NASA could do instead of Photoshop a skull to look only kind of like a skull:
-Make it look like a rock and have no one notice it among the hundreds of Mars pictures
-Use the clone tool to remove it from the scene entirely, again, it's not like anyone would be looking close enough to notice
-Use some the most brilliant minds in the world to Photoshop it so well that not even a career "Mars expert" like J. P. Skipper would be able to find fake evidence of image tampering
-Not publish the picture at all

But apparently NASA is full of idiots

    I guess that makes sense

After all rocket science isn't brain surgery

If they were the ones that released the picture then yes they would. I really have no idea what to think of this.

I mean even if there is some kind of humanoid skull on mars the chances of us getting a picture of it are like fucking astronomical.

So in my mind I'm breaking it down like this:

This picture is photoshopped bullshit - Possible
The picture is real but it's just a rock - Probably
The picture is real and it's a humanoid skull - VERY UNFUCKINGLIKELY

Why NASA would only partially photoshop it doesn't make any sense to me. The guy who said that probably doesn't have a clue about what he's talking about considering the image wasn't taken with a regular fucking camera.
