Yeah weekends are always rough, and this is getting down to the wire.

Looks like !Delmain is going to win anyway. Tomorrow I should have some more free time to analyze the posts and votes of those of us who are left. No guarantee that it will be as epic as my first list, but I have seen some suspicious patterns.

The idea that your vote is a moral statement about you or who you vote for is some backwards ass libertarian nonsense. Your vote is about society. Vote to protect the vulnerable.

Well, there's a very good chance I'm going to erased tonight, as what happened last night could only be a coordinated attack.

People that I have told the things that I have told, remember them if/when I show up green. It may be useful, may not be, who knows?

And...Shiki...I'm sorry. I should have opened up to you...

But it's probably too late...get to Mr. H's, you only have 7 minutes, remember?

Hmm, well, people can only attack on one day, and then they don't have bravery for the next day, so you're unlikely to get hit two days in a row.

    Day 10 -- An uneventful evening. --

As the day grew to a close, everyone was in agreement that a certain False Stalwart needed to be exiled to the abyss. Well, except for that particular False Stalwart, but nobody really cared about his opinions anyway. As he faded into nothingness, they all felt a certain unease, they knew they'd made a mistake!

Accusations flew throughout Pandaemonium, and as tensions rose things got violent. One Ephemeral Phantom learned all to well to get out of the way of an angry man with a full EX-gauge.

    The dead:
EnlightenedBum - Ephemeral Phantom - Took an EX-Attack to the face
Delmain - False Stalwart - Sent to the abyss

Alright, so right now I'd love to see some guidance or explanations coming from simonwolf, since the last few days have featured some pretty damn weird goings-on.

In hopes of stirring some more discussion today than there was yesterday, I'm going to go ahead and make the point that good analysis or not, jdarksun's hit squad has been hitting villagers and good specials all game, and when someone finally called him out on it (enlightenedbum, yesterday), simonwolf axed him.

    Something ain't right here.

Don't want to edit a vote post, but I should clarify that of course I don't know for sure who jdarksun's hit squads have targeted (RE: the killing of the specials), but not a single red name has come up in the narration as "beaten down" yet, so that says something to me.

Okay, here's where I think the mafia kill went.

Two nights ago, for whatever reason, my guard failed, and someone managed to land an attack on me. Maybe my guard forgot to send his order in, I don't know - but with the death of CJ Iwakura, the mafia must have thought my guard was dead, and decided to use their kill on me.

It was blocked, obviously, since my guard is still alive.

This, however, would mean one theory is out the window - the theory that jdarksun has had that mafia can't attack like everyone else can. They can, and must have been using one on me every night to see if/when my guard would break.

I'm still not sure what happened to the vig kill, but I have a few ideas.

There's ten people still alive, and I'm guessing there's three mafia left. We've got another night or two in which to try and win this thing, people! Throw some ideas out there.

Garroad_ran seems like a good bet. He's fairly active in the thread, but he's voted pretty badly, particularly early on, and repeatedly tried to undermine Simonwolf. (Personally, I'm assuming Simonwolf is village aligned because otherwise the whole game become WTF territory, which gives me a grand total of two out of ten that I'm "sure" of.)

For now I'm gonna go with !Rawkking Goodguy. I was suspicious of Lucedes before he got replaced, voting on the MrBlarnwagon and then for TheLawinator. Since Rawkking replaced him, aside from the day where pretty much everyone voted Fluffy, he's voted for Daius and Jaenther, which I find strange.

Since it's Saturday, my brief researching of post history has brought him up as the most suspicious, so for now that's my best call.

garroad_ran, Nocturne, and jdarksun our most vocal survivors (besides myself)

Do I believe that all of you are clean and that the majority of the Mafia have just been skirting inactivity to survive?

Nahhhh, that'd be no fun. !garroad_ran let's test that "Always Evil" theory of yours.

I was going to vote for Matatat, but a quick check of his previous posts reveals that he always posts with some degree of indecision.

And Nocturne, while I can't speak for the behavior of my predecessor, I'm confused as to how voting for Jaenther when practically everyone else was piling up on a villager bandwagon (Delmain) makes me any more or any less suspicious. Remember, I'd know that Delmain was a villager.

I am going to vote for garroad_ran. He acts practically the same while a mafia member as he usually does. Very impressive, very dangerous. I would know from Dr. Lucky.

Funny you should mention that, because jdarksun has been running the same kind of network you infiltrated and used to destroy the village in that game.

And his squad hasn't come forward and said anything yet regarding the fact that all they've been killing is villagers. Once again, sound like any villager networks you're familiar with?

But hey, I've never won a game where I actually lived 'till the end, so this might actually work out better for all involved.

I suppose unlike in Dr. Lucky, just having a mafioso in your network doesn't allow you to prevent other mafias from dying to the network, so the ideal position of a mafioso is not necessarily a network follower.

Bringing up some evidence from reading the thread.

Hopefully you guys will, you know, actually vote out a mafia tomorrow.
From your perspective, I suppose that's not impossible. However, I think those that I've worked with would quite disagree with you.

Yes, your vigilante group has taken out quite a bit of the mafia after all. It's clearly impossible that you're just leading them around the your buddies.

ShadowThomas posted this when he was about to get lynched by the thread and revealed as mafia. Tiphareth died as Kuja, a good special, several days later.

I find the gambit of a mafia member intentionally posting the names of two players when he is getting voted out interesting. I also find it fairly unlikely that ShadowThomas believed he had something to gain by naming a nonmafia and a mafia (assuming Jdarksun is mafia for the sake of argument) in this gambit. Most people would either name two mafia and hope people think it's too obvious (a terrible idea), or name two villagers due to realizing that people will act on this information in all sorts of different ways (some interpreting it as painting a target on villagers, some thinking they might be mafia). With so many people capable of attacking independently this is really only a good thing, as somebody is probably going to take the bait. I wish I could find the story of the two goblets of wine, with one allegedly poisoned, and a fellow going through all the thought processes of what the poisoned wine could be. Alas, I can't find it, so I will instead link a popular webcomic.

There is some supporting evidence to the idea of Jdark being mafia and intentionally being paired with an innocent, mainly Simonwolf's kill text mysteriously appears on Tiphareth, perhaps evidence of a baddie busdriver killing him with Simon's vig. Simonwolf himself will have to interpret this, though he can probably tell the thread, since he allegedly knows why, if it wasn't a baddie busdriver to eliminate the possibility that the mafia are gambling on.

This doesn't entirely eliminate the chance that ST made a very strange decision of including a mafia and nonmafia, but I'm willing to bet he's innocent.

I'd prefer to vote out his collaborators, but I'll settle for the next best thing.

EDIT: doesn't prevent other mafias from dying to the network, but gives them a 70% chance to prevent it.

So, Pigeon, what have you learned from reading through the whole thread?

    1. Rawkking is apparently reading my mind about that one post
    2. Lucedes, Rawkking's predecessor, liked to waste votes
    3. Ringo agreed with me why did he do that
    4. matatat likes to jump on at the very end of bandwagonings
    5. A lot of mafias were on the kias wagon
    6. garroadran agreed with infidel early on and was slow on the fluffy wagon but hopped on the kias wagon early
    7. Jaenthar's avatar is entirely too enthusiastic
    8. Something about cj and mr defecation, i can't read my own writing apparently
    9. Most people left do not post much
    10. I do not post much
    11. I am not very good at any of this
