Let's say I was a Pirate and allied myself with a Ninja (choosing factions that aren't in the game). That means I win when the game ends and everyone but the Pirates are dead or everyone but the Ninjas are dead or that specific Ninja and me together have the most treasure?
In that last case he only wins if he is also allied with me?
As a followup to kime's question: if everyone allies with the guy who somehow has all the treasure, then everyone wins?

Day 1 - Landing
Arriving through the gate, the ship found itself just above the world in question. An empty world...
"Ey." said one of the hands on the ship, "Its dark, where the hell are all the stars." looking out the viewports, only a handful could be seen. Most of space was just... Black.
"Don't worry about that, we're here to collect!" Bellowed the captain, "Upon landing, spread out and start salvaging!" the floor shuddered as the ship hit the atmosphere. "We're here for 6 days, and after that, no matter what, we're out of here!"
Punching through the clouds, the actual surface was revealed. Even the toughest men on board let out noises of surprise and worried interest. "It's like a black desert, covering a city..." A city of ruins that spread into the horizon. "This place is untouched since it was abandoned, just spread out when we land and look for artefacts!"
The ship landed, people disembarked. It was dim, the weather was deeply overcast. People grabbed what equipment they could and headed out.
Ocean of Glass: In the middle of the city is a vast area which is simply flat, the floor made of glass. Near the sides, solid waves are permanently frozen crashing over buildings.

It not a reveal as much as it's trying to get the Brigands to contact me so we can get our network going. I'm sure I'll die tonight, or at least get voted off, but I'm trying to give my team a fighting chance to win here. So, Brigands, once again, contact me for a network!

You realize someone of a different faction could find you and take out your network, yes? This is more or less how everyone got screwed in the Lucky phalla.

But... but what are you going to do to prevent that? It's all well and good saying that your "network" won't be infiltrated, but save quizzing people on role PMs (which is meta and getting very close to breaking rules) I don't see a way for you to prove anyone on the first day here, especially if you are expecting to die.
Beyond that, if you don't prove yourself, then you could very well be setting a trap for any Brigands to contact you.
samurai, you kind of need to do a bit more than "I'm Faction A, everyone in it contact me!" to make this sensible.
I don't know how likely it is for an entire faction to win. That's a maximum of five players (the faction) and five other players (their allies) left standing on Day 6, which means at least 15 people have to die between now and then. Beyond that, there's the obvious fact that many of the deaths between now and then are going to be Faction X or allies of Faction X, so outside of the best case scenario we'd need more than 15 total deaths to make a faction victory possible.
On top of that, faction mates aren't even aware of each other, so unless someone establishes himself as a leader there's also the risk of faction mates killing each other, which doesn't help a given faction's chances.

Hypothetically speaking, some of us might know how to do that in a less that obvious faction. Were I a crafty word smith, for example, I'd go off and put snippets of my role PM into almost every post I make on day 1. Alas, I've not been that cunning yet.

The only restrictions are that you can't move from Broken Crevice to Ocean of Glass, or Dark Monument to the twisted commons
Think of it as a giant X with those 4 on the points and landing in the middle
