anywho, guess who just got into Y: The Last Man? Guess who found the first three trade paperbacks this Sunday at a farther away library after a couple years of searching? Guess who's local library had 4-9 for the longest time until they were sold last week for a nickel a piece?

Some baseline human Ads and Ods for your approval
Gun Crazy (?) - You are crazy awesome with Small Arms. Take a +1 to all rolls in which you spend a charge on a weapon that is deemed small (i.e. Pistols, Revolvers, Shotguns, SMG, ect)
Heavy Weapons Guy (?) - You are credit to team! When you have your Heavy Weapon on you, that is. Take a +1 to all rolls in which you spend a charge on a weapon that is deemed big (i.e. Mounted Machine Gun, Minigun, Rocket Launcher, ect)
Good Day, Wanker! (?) - You tend to be quite efficient, and you always have a plan to kill those around you. Take a +1 to all rolls in which you spend a charge on a weapon that is deemed longrange (i.e. Sniper Rifle)
Bonk! (?) - You're the dude in the back, the one with the baseball bat. Yeah, these fools around you might have some big guns, but in the end, you know you'll come out on top. Some might call you a force of nature, other might call you annoying as hell, but you know that you'll always take a +1 whenever you spend a charge on a melee weapon (i.e. Baseball Bat with a Nail in it, Sword, Brass Knuckles, ect)
Phobia (ZOMBIES!!!!) (-3) - You have this irrational fear of zombies. This kinda sucks, because as it turns out, they exist! Everytime you encounter a Zombie or a Zombie Like Creature, you must roll a D6. On a roll of 3 or less, you must either run away from the creature, or engage it in Hard Combat. This Od may be removed at anytime by the GM, when he/she decides that your character has gotten over their fear. Whether or not the character keeps the ad points given by this od is up to the GM's discretion.
Also Anti I'm gonna recommend skipping Dance of the Dead. It's not that good and it doesn't really make sense where it is, it should be a few episodes earlier. It's a lot of exposition about stuff that you should already have inferred.
how do you be nice when you need to critique a girl's essay about her high school relationships and how they affected her early college life when it's supposed to be a fictional short story
hmmmmm
I'm want to say "I don't care about your high school romances because they're trite and uninteresting. Make something exciting happen."
but that's a bit mean (so I'm just going to say it here, instead)
I'm writing a couple paragraphs about how she need to tell way less and show more, citing a couple of what should be relatively emotional points in the tale, but are practically bullet-pointed.
The teacher told everyone that writing from real life events is okay, just be willing to alter events to make an interesting narrative. Seems at least one person didn't bother on that second bit. Can't really blame her, most the exercises have had us write from real life experiences. So I'm hesitant to knock her for it.

Condolences again, if a bit late.
And the similiarties between the Dwarf Commoner origin and Dubh's background are uncanny.

I just finished it five minutes ago! Jesus Christ that was fantastic.
So fucking good.
The best part is that I'm not sure it's the best one. Just wait 'til you get to Hammer Into Anvil.

Bear get down here.
Bring the suit.
The suit's power grows exponentially based on the density of the population around him!
Bear is never allowed to wear the suit in Hong Kong.
Whole streets would become white water rapids.
"...right now Bear is Alaska. Most likely being a BOSS"
I applaud you

That seems like the easiest entry point.

Just take a red marker, and write "no no no no no no no no no" across her entire paper.
