A nickname I given t ohe most beautiful girl i've fallen for. She is smart, funny, and the only eyes id spend my entire life staring at, just to figure her out. Shes like a mystery, always wanting to find out more about her, yet I can never truly understand her. She makes me absolutely crazy for her and a moment holding her in my arms brings me back to sanity. She has long wavy brown hair and a forehead I love to kiss. She has the most incredible eyes and the cutest nose I love to play with. She has the softest cheeks and the hottest pair of lips I love to bite. The way she pouts them makes me melt inside. She has the body of a goddess and has the cutest feet with the smallest pink toe ever. I never anything before her. She gives me this feeling which no one has ever given to me before and that its only for her. I hate that I'm this crazy for her and I hate that i feel all this when Im this young. I know shes the one already and Im willing to go through whatever to be with her for the rest of my life. I hate it so much that I start to hate myself for it and I just wish I would dissapear sometimes so I could run away from all this. Yet I know I cant bare to be without her.....I love this girl too much....

What does Native mean in this context, Morgenstern? Where are you?
Native Americans. I was living in Lethbridge, AB, Canada at the time.
I used to live there
I'll be moving back there come next May. Masters at U of L. Maybe I can get stabbed again.
that's a pretty building
that whole coulee is really nice looking in the summertime
When I lived there, I was always torn about that building. Somedays I thought it looked so out of place, and other days it looked like it fit in perfectly. I like it a lot better when it's lit up at night, especially in winter.

I definitely put my hand in where a bat was resting, once
It was the crux of the route and I could not move it, no matter how loudly the bat squeaked
One time I saw an owl and it was just right there, big eyes just bugging out right at me. I'd never seen one in real life like that and definitely lost my footing. I wasn't even properly climbing, we were just climbing around under an old bridge. If I ever almost grabbed hold of a bat or hornets nest I know my butt would be headed right to the ground.

they had a decent comic shop and a pretty good local pizza place, coincidentally enough located right next to each other
good sushi place too
I could've lived out my days there pretty ok if we didn't live in such shitty housing the whole time we were there
ah well
Osho's is the best. Spent a lot of student loan money there.
I like the place well enough, but it all comes down to where you live. I lived on the north side for my first two years and it was incredibly depressing. Moved over the west side, almost directly across from Super Sam's, in a newly renovated house and had an entire basement to myself. Things got better.

we moved from a shitty apartment on the west side to a shittier apartment on the north side
then the wife lost her job and we had to move in with her parents in Taber
and Taber makes Lethbridge look like New York City
welp, that's enough reminiscing about southern alberta for one day

Taber is also full of Mormons. I did a 4 month co-op at that giant McCain's factory back in 2004.

My Mormon buddy would always take me along to the Mormon Youth Association breakfasts and dinners for the free food. Good times. Get in, eat, get the fuck out.

there's a cap on how much pain you can suffer from physical trauma before your brain is like "fuck this, i'm out of here" and you go into shock
nerve pain? like damage to the nerves themselves that isn't linked to tissue trauma?
nerve pain has no hard ceiling. you can suffer essentially limitless amounts of nerve pain without going into shock.
i had shingles last year. shingles, for those of you who don't know, is why people say you should get chicken pox as a kid, because shingles is the pissed off bitter grown up version of chicken pox and it does not fuck around
as a virus, it attacks your nervous system. the welts and sores that shingles causes are caused by nerve damage, not damage directly to your skin.
the amount of pain you can suffer from shingles is incredible. it is, with a very wide margin, the most painful thing i have ever experienced in my entire life. at one point, i was in the hospital, back arched in the air and every muscle tensed, essentially sitting on the back of my heels and the top of my head, screaming so loud orderlies were running over from other wards
they had to get a group of dudes to hold me down so they could inject me with a bunch of hydromorphone, an opiate more powerful than heroin, just so i would stop
i spent months popping hydromorphone like candy and often was still in pain
even after the shingles healed
because from shingles you can get postherpetic neuralgia, which is basically lingering nerve damage that still leaves you in immense pain
i was in pain every single day from it until i had a stroke
stephen king wrote a story that had a guy with shingles in it and it didn't sound awesome at all

My mom has to have a biopsy done on her uvula, because she had some cancerous tissue in her mouth removed and they want to make sure a weird spot isn't anything.
I seriously am cringing at the thought of someone touching that thing. I'm hoping she won't be in too much pain after.
Really though besides Endometriosis and that weird boil thing that one time I've never had to deal with much pain. And from what I can tell that endometriosis isn't that big of a deal as long as you get it taken care of every few years but ouch it still hurts. I do not have a very high tolerance for pain.
i had a bit of a migraine, but that was more after the fact
during the stroke itself i really didn't feel much of anything
i was more or less totally conscious and terrified and wanted to scream but i couldn't really make sounds or facial expressions or movements to convey this
i could see my co-workers standing around me out of my one good eye and they were like "is he okay? is he conscious?" and i wanted to scream I AM HAVING A STROKE GOD CALL AN AMBULANCE PLEASE HELP ME and all i managed was a wheezing noise and to sort of raise my right hand and grasp it
i still have nightmares about it, that's how scary it was
but painful?
not really

ie a cut, a broken bone
your arm getting ripped off
etc.

not really
When I was about 5 or 6 a bullant got into my underwear somehow and went on the chomp.
Nowdays, as an adult it probably wouldn't be too bad, but boy howdy, for a six year old I was in a lot of pain.
Satans..... hints.....
It's very weird to watch how you cope with your own impending doom on a daily basis.
And by weird I mean I'm very tired.
I've been convinced I was gonna die in my sleep a couple of nights. Didn't sleep well, thought I could dodge it.
it is not painful
but golly is it unpleasant
I find myself planning my funeral at times when my mind wanders; it's actually kinda fun
Also I think I'm going to start planning a party for December 20, 2012
