That place is a dump, though the park south of the beach is nice
Wildwood is ok, I've been going there nearly every year since I can remember so I'm probably biased in that regard
Wildwood has gone completely down the shitter, but that's because the entire island is mismanaged and the housing boom then implosion fucked them up. They're mayor is a fucking idiot (you can't trust a Troiano), they're finance person is also an idiot who can't count, they knocked down almost all the motels and built condos that no one has bought because that market crashed there about 4 years ago, the high school is in shambles and the police can't control shit that goes on on the boardwalk. Most of the condos are empty, some are renting dirt cheap to year round residents just to pay the mortgage and families aren't going down to stay in the condos anymore, they cost too much for a weekend. It was a lot different when I was a kid.
It's kind of like how Stone Harbor used to be wicked cute with lots of small shops and now it feels like a strip mall. Man do I miss Fudge Kitchen Fudge though. I need to get that mailed to me.

The motels had their own problems, but they did give the place a certain charm
I can't speak to the municipal problems, but I did notice quite a few empty condos when I was down this year, so I don't doubt the housing bubble popping really hurt them
Stone Harbor was the place the rich kids would go when I was in grade school, everyone else went to Wildwood, oh and Laura's Fudge is the best fudge

Gross, that's like the people who prefer Mac and Mancos to Sam's.
Wow, despite the high as fuck taxes, our state being in massive debt, and our public universities going to shit; I'm still glad I live in SoCal. We just have to deal with bros, and no juggalos or guidos!

I don't wanna kill anybody. I don't like bullies. I don't care where they're from.
the people, the summer traffic, the tourists, the fucking seagulls crapping on everything and being fed by braindead people from the city who think they're awwww cute birds NO THEY'RE FUCKING FLYING RATS AND YOU'RE ACCLIMATING THEM TO HUMANS AND NOW IT'LL GO STEAL SOMEONE'S PIZZA OUT OF THEIR HANDS FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF
Ya know.
I said "guido" in my mom's hearing once and she just about washed my mouth out with soap.
In some circles it's an ethnic slur.
I kind of like the place. The seedy charm, the cute accents, the cold water, the carnival food, being the least tan person around. It has its own romance.
The first time I fell in love, I thought "Oh if he ever notices me, I want to go to the Jersey Shore with him." I'm entirely serious.

I don't believe in a god but if he turns out to be real I'll thank him for the fact that I have never lived near guidos or have seen one in real life.
You mean the guy who's head is way too small for his body?
True, but at least he wasn't entirely retarded.

I come from a long line of bouncers
A great family tradition of bouncing
As a person that has been to beaches on both coasts. I agree.

All I know about New Jersey is that most of his movies take place there. Yup. That's all I know.
On a related note: When I tried growing out my beard, I was told that I looked like a cross between Jay and Silent Bob. "like if they fucked"

TEN MEATHEADS.
NO.
HOLDS.
BARRED.
I watched the show from episode 1 to the season finale as it aired.
It was the most beautiful train wreck.
