Ninja Assassin: Yea or Nah?

I'm trying to decide whether I should see Ninja Assassin or Fantastic Mr. Fox. It looks cool, but I can't help getting this "Real Ultimate Power OMG NINJAS" vibe when I see the commercials for it. Has anyone here seen it yet? If so how is it?

I'm gonna see Ninja Assassin today, and Mr. Fox later. Speed Racer is my favourite movie of all time, and I totally trust the Wachowskis to make Ninja Assassin amazing.

    It's fucking sweet.

Not much in terms of plot, it's just there to carry the movie. What's fun about it is the over the top violence and gore.

The only thing that would have made it better for me is not having the people who sat behind me.

"OH! Girl! Don't go in there!"

"Ooh his lips is chapped. He need some Carmex."

oh wow, they made this? If they're not trying to do plot (matrix) or humor (speed racer) then this might be decent

I seen this last night and didn't much care for it at all. It's one of those movies that's just too retarded to get any enjoyment out of. The beginning is actually pretty alright and I enjoyed some of the initial fight scenes, but it just got more and more ridiculous as it went on, taking itself completely seriously the whole time.

Single Shot 6 minute fight scene

Man has anyone seen Red Cliff?

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pd0bqLQrtdE

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_Cliff_%28film%29

This is my first time hearing of this but it sounds intense. Highest grossing film in china ever, directed by John Woo, apparently so long it had to to be divided into two parts... and there's separate north american and Chinese versions of the movie with different footage.

There seems to be a cultural difference where one group of people thinks it's totally OK to shout shit during the movie. Also, white people drive a car like this.

    Oh, right. Almost forgot.

Ninja Assassin looks like it might be so bad that it's bad. I think when you take it past Army Of Darkness, you are treading dangerous ground.

EDIT: This is what I'm talking about:

I got shushed when I went to see the first Transformers during the robots pounding the shit out of each other scene.

I got shushed during Spider-Man 3 for bursting out in laughter at the posing in front of the american flag part.

I got shushed when I went to see Zombieland during the 2012 trailer because I was pointing out to my friend all the things that make it retarded.
