Posts
I've brought your speed back up.
Speed test: 5d3-5 6
I'll then go ahead and flee back from whence I came; all the way back to the servant's quarters. Then I'll move west, into unknown territory.
in which she hears
The Voice
"I'm under the floor, buried under the floor..."
The voice whispers once, then is gone.
You must attempt a Knowledge roll.
1 Upper room left.
Listen, I'll be honest here, I do not think I need to fear Knowledge rolls anymore
Axe
Very sharp.
You roll 1 additional die (maximum of 8 dice) when making a Might attack with this weapon.
You can't use another weapon while you're using this one.
Okay, guys, I know I'm behind on updating the map and everything, and I'm sorry about that, but I'm going to be putting the game on hold for the next couple days, since starting in the morning I'm going to be gone until after christmas.
We'll pick things up some time on the 26th.
The ground level has been fully explored, the upper floor only has one unexplored room left, and the basement has four.
Rolling a 5 for the attack.
The first head, seeing vast unused space infront of it, slithers north and then downwards, ending up at the bottom of the grand staircase.
The second head, having taken a bit of a rebreather, decides that it is time to take a quick nap.
his roll is 2
which, after the armor, means zoe takes two physical damage
I need to know where that damage is going to go as well as what zoe's going to do because it is her turn
Zoe was pissed. Big worm and she couldn't hit it.
"Lets get it, Lady Crystal!" Zoe said as she followed downstairs.
"I'm going to hit you now!"
Zoe slashed at the worm's head with her doll.
Zoe's attack against the worm is 3.
Need a Might 5 defense roll from Tiph.
You can try to cross the chasm now, if you wish, though getting to the other side is as far as you can go on this turn.
Speed: 5d3-5 5
Guess I'll move to the Grand Staircase on the ground floor (I totally have enough Speed to do that) and attack the shit out of that head with my big ol' axe
Attackin' with Lord Axington: 5d3-5 6
aww yeah
How will Heather take the damage?
The second head dreams of beautiful meadows, where a buttefly lazily flutters on a straw of grass, dreaming of being a worm.
Zoe's life is tragically cut short. Her armor lies where an opportunistic ally might get some use out of it, if they can bring themselves to come and remove it from her corpse.
Ox gets the next move.
Take 1 point of physical damage if you end your turn here.
Standing on a pile of coal, the dog barks for attention. He's found something.
Ox digs for a moment, and finds the
Crystal Ball
Hazy images appear in the glass.
Once during your turn after the haunt is revealed, you can attempt a Knowledge roll to peer into the Crystal Ball:
4+ You see the truth. Search through the stack of your choice and take a tile or card. Shuffle that stack. Then place that tile or card on top.
1-3 You avert your eyes. Lose 1 Sanity.
0 You stare into Hell. Lose 2 Sanity.
Where will you take the furnace room damage?
Leaving the Junk Room: 2d3-2 2
While pushing aside a large broken chair, she loses her grip; an exposed nail tears a ragged gash in her ankle. Vivian winces. "Dammit, I'm useless in here! There's got to be something I can do, some way to get rid of this thing-"
She glances at the gleaming ceremonial candle in her hand.
"...or banish it." That's it! The traditional ritual: bell, book, and candle.
"Wait, Heather! I'm coming to you!" She heads to the Patio, hears the hissing behind the next door, and waits for the great snake to move on.
