True callings are a damn funny thing.

Particularly if you feel really strongly about more than one path in life, and if you seem to have the talents to proceed in either of them.

You have to pick one or your life goes nowhere. But by picking one you abandon the chance to explore the other- and the other is just as compelling in its own way, to the extent that you don't really want to move away from it.

But I suppose choosing is part of growing up.

while I certainly agree that one has to choose, I don't agree that you're abandoning a chance to go back and explore other options

Yup. Unless your other option involves something impossible to achieve on any level otherwise you could always pursue this in your spare time.

see, I'm kind of good at a bunch of completely unrelated things, which makes it very hard to smoosh together

Some of mine are unrelated: languages, screenprinting
but then I make Russian days of the week underpants. Kind of silly but it makes me happy.

lately (and by lately i mean in the past three years) i have had this desire to learn/play the piano.

it comes and goes, but the desire has been much stronger since about September this year.

I asked my parents to go halfsies with me for christmas on getting a digital piano so I can finally start learning.

    fingers crossed.

according to wikipedia, DPA is the Danish Pedophile Association, a self-described group of "pedophiles, supporters and others interested in the social, psychological, political and law aspects of pedophilia and children's sexuality."

Man that shit was part of my job for 6 years, I went to technical college for two years, and I still couldn't describe it to you in a written format without losing my mind. I can show you how they work, how to tear them down and rebuild them, point out the differences in operation, teach you to set them up, time them and 'rate' them, teach you to troubleshoot them, but otherwise, forget it.

    Hooray for inline pumps!

Even more hoorays for unit injection!

Alt post - see, what did I tell you? Danish paedophiles would get anybody's extremities throbbing...
