So lately my XBox Live has been a bit laggy, so I decided to check my network settings to make sure I was connected to my network, and not accidentally connected to some other wifi network out there (this has happened on occasion before). Everything checked out.
So I go to look at my network settings on my computer. And... the Linksys Network Advisor doesn't show my network. It keeps asking if I want to make a
new network, and when I try then it says I have a static IP address but am not connected to the Internet (a lie, obviously).
I know my Internet is running through my router right now because of the simple fact that unplugging all my wireless stuff makes me unable to access my Internet. I also know that my network still exists because my 360 is still configured for that network and I just ran a test to make sure it was connected to it, and I searched for wireless networks in my area on my PC and the network name I always use was listed and it took my saved WEP encryption key for a password, which wouldn't have worked if I had somehow re-created the network with my fiddling beforehand.
I really don't know what to do here.... Cisco's official troubleshooting page is a boondoggle of non-helpfullness, and looking at "Network and Internet Connections", et al. in my Control Panel isn't telling me anything I can understand.
