Selling them would be a bit rude. Also I already have some nomads.
Tri-Optimum reminds you that there are only one-hundred-sixty-three shopping days until Christmas. Just 1 extra work cycle twice a week will give you the spending money you need to make this holiday a very special one.
I used to play Tohaa and have played against them often. What have you got? My advice is a couple of toolbox triads, some support chaksa/kumotail and then mobile strikers like the Clipsos, Rasail and such.
That's the thing, I don't even know that. Other than the big TAG guy which I assume is a Gorgos of some description. I'm going to have to do some research when I get home.

You're in luck! The Gorgos used to be shit, but now it's really good!

Something to remember about Tohaa Triads - having multiple fireteams of mixed units sound great, but it's easy to fall into the trap of focusing on it too much. Fireteam Tohaa lets you move the more basic units and some specialists around much more efficiently, but unlike a full Core link they're unlikely to be brute forcing their way through face to face rolls.
When I play Tohaa, I tend to try for 2 Triad links maximum in a combat group, and use the other spots for their really good solo units. Kaauri Sentinels, Kerail Preceptors, Kotails, Nikoul, Rasail, Clipsos, Igao and Gorgos are not linkable, but each have their own attack vectors and strengths. Nikoul are fantastic for locking down a fire lane with Foxhole, Symbiont Armour, Minelayer, MSV 1 and a Viral Sniper Rifle. Kotails with Super Jump, 6-4 MOV, Symbiont armour and a high burst weapon will get at your opponent from completely unexpected angles. Igao are CC cruise missiles.
Basically, don't get caught up in the 'wow I can link everything!' mentality, because there's so many units that can't link but are fantastic, and your links are always hard capped at 3, so you'll never have a link as powerful as a full Core link. It's there for order efficiency, not firepower.

Ariadna has an honest to god hackable HI now? Damn. No model. I need to get me a bunch of bikers too so I can have a combat group full of them.

Yeah the Blackjack. People are using the new Haqqislam Azra'il as a proxy, as the size is right and it looks a bit lower tech. It's got its quirks as most Ariadna stuff does, with a 'damaged' profile, like an inactive symbiont Tohaa profile.
However, CB have said it's not in the cards for a while, maybe even not until next year.

Damn. Oh well. Sounds like a cool unit.
So I haven't played since 2nd edition. What are some good units to pick up to catch up with? What's this I hear about the norm being two combat groups nowadays? Is everything that much cheaper now? I kinda want a bike Swarm for my second group - four Mavericks and four Outlaws.

New releases. I think the Hassassin Govad wins the month. Really badass model. Also a female with no cheesecake in sight. The Yu Jing starter we've all seen already. The Sukeul Commando is pretty average, especially for a Tohaa which tend to have pretty awesome sculpts of late. Moderators are, well, Moderators. they're also the Guardians of the Galaxy, so there's that. The Techbee... hmmm. Yeah.

I'm with you on the Govad being excellent while also being disappointed in the Sukeul sculpt (especially compared to the artwork shown). However, I do think it is slightly strange to have this opinion, when the Govad and Sukeul seem to almost be mirror images of each other in terms of their stance.
I just won a fully painted Tohaa army. How do I Tohaa?
You want two of the Symbio-mate Chain of Command guys. Symbio-mates are the most broken in the game after Ghazi. Your opponent has mines or Crazy Koala's just walk into them, ignore an infinite number of AROs if you need to cross dangerous ground, force your opponent to waste orders worth of shooting accomplishing nothing. The Symbio-mate does all that and the cost for taking 4 of them is that you will never have to worry about going into Loss of Lieutenant unless your entire army is dead.

I don't see that really as a fault. They're never going to be used in the same list so you're never going to see it on the table. As it is, plenty of models in the Infinity range share a pose, like almost every single hacker. If they simply releases the Sukeul or Govad in a different month, most people wouldn't even notice.
For example, these were released months apart and no one batted an eye. Drakios is the exact same body pose with an arm swap.

That's not cheesecake. Cheesecake is an attractive female in clothing and/or pose that flaunts that attractiveness. The Govad doesn't do that at all.
Sorry if I wasn't being clear but I really like the Govad and her pose while I'm not really a fan of the Sukeal which is probably odd on my part because both these models are more or less in the same pose.
I've not got a problem with the same pose on models for different factions. As you say, you'd not notice it on the table top unless side by side.

Breaker ammo on your hacking programs is basically need for those bad boys
The hacker player really should have switched to programs with Breaker type "ammo" when facing BTS 9, but yea it's great, I love having the high BTS on Interventors for facing KHDs.

Offensive hacking against HI is also just a trap, since you can't hurt them and they can just reset any time you trigger an ARO.
I disagree, I think offensive hacking can be very useful
Locking them down is really effective, because you can shoot them unopposed, or indeed you just leave them there with a repeater nearby. Reset on their active turn prokes an ARO that way, and only removes the IMM state on a normal roll, so an immobilised HI near a repeater with a hacker on the other end literally can't unlock unless they remove the repeater and/or the hacker (you just ARO with whatever program you like, and their reset can only defend against that, not take away the existing IMM state).
Not many people know that, but you can even do things like throw out Oblivion in ARO if they try it, so if they fail, they're doubly fucked with an isolated and immobilised HI!

Throwing a HI into IMM also does fun stuff like knock them out of suppressive fire. Against, say, an HMG locking down a corridor vs a boarding shotgun that hack is the difference between a very risky face to face roll and a super easy one
Edit: even if they immediately cancel the state somehow

So what would be the most recommended models to get for Ariadna for someone who hasn't played since end of last edition? Spetznaz aside. I eventually want to build into USAriadna but the Minutemen and Blacjack don't have models yet. (Well, the beyond the nasty old model and the one in the sectorial box for the Minutemen)
EDIT: Oh, sorry. Didn't realize I already posted.

USAriadna is fine without the Minutemen and Blackjacks, so if you want to build into them, go ahead.
You'll want to start with the army box, since it's the starter set plus an exclusive Devil Dog and Maverick that you can't get outside of the box - the Devil Dog with Shotgun is an arm swap of the Devil Dog in the army box, and the Mavericks box does not have the one in the army box. You'll want to add the Grunts SWC box as well. Then just go from there with the units you like from the sectorial.

Even without Blackjacks and Minutemen, there's some nice stuff to go with. Grunts themselves are ridiculous for your basic infantry. ARM 3, good weapon options. The Grunt Infiltrator is pretty bonkers. Devil Dogs are badass and bring an Antipode friend. Desperados are basically Kum riders with some different skills, but cheap, Impetuous assault units. Mavericks are up there with Aragoto. Bike, ARM 3 again (!!!! one a bike !!!!), MSV 1, Regular, normal Impetuous, specialist options. You've got Hardcases and Foxtrots, Van Zant and the Unknown Ranger, Dozers, Traktor Muls... There's a lot of good stuff there.

As a cheerleader grunts are awesome. Their biggest downside is their low mobility, but that's not much of a concern for a unit that primarily stays back to hold ground

Clearing away the crickets.
Had a game yesterday, Haqq vs Nomads. Haven't played this guy in our group before despite my best efforts to do so. I wanted to try out Tarik again since he was nearly finished painting, and I'd just bought the Tuareg hacker so I wanted to try it.
Overall, I came away with a narrow win. Dice just did not want to work with me. I lost my Azra'il in turn 1 due to Pupniks rampaging up the board under Eclipse smoke, my Lasiq sniper lost a very favourable duel. Tarik got glued by I think a Tomcat. After losing all my key hitters, I still managed to equal him in casualties. I only won due to going for my Classifieds.
Barid was once again the MVP. Thanks to @Albino Bunnys suggestion earlier about Killer Hackers against people with Repeaters, I got my Barid KIller Hacker up to hack through an Interventors own Fast Panda and hit him with Lightning. Wow that program is lethal. My Barid just keeps showing me reasons that he's awesome.
Hacking dominance is a real part of the game for any list that uses hackers as more than glorified cheer leaders with supportware. The honest fact is that if two even vaguely hacking focused lists clash there's usually not much one side can do to play around the conflict happening. You're both fighting over the same HI, repeaters and drones and 8"'s doesn't sound like much but can rapidly take up huge chunks of the board.
Killer Hacking Devices feel almost as worth while as a support ware monkey on lists that make use of the digital side of things these days because they tend to come on sleek, sexy combat specialists and have the attractive IMP-1 capability so even if the enemy doesn't show up wanting to contest cyber space they can be a menace.
Fuck I really should get back into Infinity. I'm just so terrible at the hobby aspect. If it had a digital version of the game I'd be playing it non stop.
