    I use to have this bad habbit where I read sluggy freelance for years. Like I started in middle school and it took me until my first year of college to stop. I knew it wasn't funny and it was a waste of time, but I couldent. It was like smoking.

    Webcomics thread, I humbly request your assistance in remembering a webcomic. I do not remember if it was good, terrible or really good.

    It featured completely unchanging panels, in which a man who was in the first plane talked to a woman in the back. They never moved. They just talked.

    Also, today I remembered Pokey the Penguin.

    Even more awesome: bear and kitten hasn't updated since June 2009 and all they have is this tiny message box up where fans can comment. The fans have formed their own little community inside it where they can only look back ten messages at a time, and have a 250 character limit on every post. They've taken to using tinyURL to pass links to one another.


    I love exploring dead and forgotten forum communities, picking through the refuse and wondering what their once-great civilizations might have looked like. Old tags lying discarded, their hosting long having been expired. Old messages from a forum admin who has long since departed and taken his powers with him, leaving spam bots to fester and multiply, until they outnumber the actual humans who registered there.
