Any PAX Hockey fans? Bruins/Flames

Wondering if anyone was interested in hitting up the Hockey game on Saturday Afternoon

(1:00pm) Saturday March 27th.

Speaking as a Canadian I can't go more than 24 hours without watching a hockey game or the maple syrup in my veins starts to coagulate.


PS. I'll be brewing Tim's in my room at the Sheraton for those who need a fix.

    Flying out on Monday so its either Flames or nothin'. Sabres are looking good this year though.

    Related query. Is there a good place to buy resale tickets? Checking the usual craigslist, kijiji etc.

    Stubhub is decent, you know the tickets are reliable at the very least.

    I'll ask a few of my friends who are season ticketholders if they are gonna go :)

    How far is the convention center from where the Bruins play? I might be down dont like either team but it's always nice to go to a game.

    I'm a massive habs fan coming from montreal, and i like the flames, I am probably up for a game, depending on what cool stuff is happening at pax that night.

    Hockey is a lot of fun, and it's only a 2-3 hour thing usually. I might be up for this as long as there isn't anything absolutely vital to my PAX experience going on during that time.

    Just for note - Wearing Habs apparel to the game might not be the best idea.

    Bruins fans can get a little ... fighty ... though it should just be mostly verbal abuse as it isn't an actual Montreal vs Boston game.


    Fun fact - the first time I ever saw a man punch a woman in the face was at a playoff game against Montreal.

    oh man I haven't had a double double in almost two years now. true there's a timmies somewhere in MA and ME but I haven't driven close enough in a while. Also I haven't had a Du Maurier in just as long!

    I'm coming into Boston a day early and going to the Bruins/Lightning game on Thursday. Can't make Saturday because I don't want to miss the panel that Julian Murdoch will be on. I'm probably going to be adding some people from the Twitter thread, so that I can see what's going on after the game gets out. That's the night of the Pokecrawl, right?

    Nova Scotian here - going with 3 other canucks. Would love to see a game, but I hope the flames improve by late march :(

    Do not wear a Montreal Canadiens jersey in Boston. Don't express patronage to anyone, if not a Boston fan already. If asked, shit talk the Rangers or Leafs.

    Very good advice for any Habs fans. It's funny because Hockey isn't huge in Boston (due in large part to the ownership's actions), but the people who are fans are diehard.

    Speaking of, I have box seats to the Bruins v Habs game tonight :D

    stubhub man i swear you can never get tickets anywhere else for NHL games. makes me sad b/c i live 3 hrs from DC and am a diehard Caps fan but those tickets are neigh impossible.

    Manitoban here also interested in seeing a game (even if just on tv - haven't looked at ticket costs). Is anyone else planning to see a game during the week? I'm flying in March 22 and also staying at the Sheraton.

    Oh, man. Now here's something you just can't get at PAX Prime- unless they keep extending the season and the league affiliates, of course.
    Won't be at PAX East, but if you're heading west in Sept, let me know who to bribe for the Timbits!
