Fuck Sprint
HenroidMexican kicked from Immigration ThreadCentrism is Racism :3Registered Userregular
So I've been unemployed right, and not able to pay some bills. This includes my bills to Sprint for internet (for computer) and phone use. My problem isn't on that front.
My problem is with the notice I got today, January 14th, notifying me that starting January 10th, four motherfucking days ago, accounts are going to be charged $5 a month for each month those accounts are not set to automatic payment. A small fee, but a bullshit fee, and one I'll have to be paying for a bit since I have other loans (personal and official) to catch up on.
Fuck this capitalist bullshit and fuck Sprint. What a terrible company.
call around and find a better deal, then go back to sprint and say if they can't match that deal and get rid the stupid fee, That you'll move on.
Chances are they'll get rid of the fee to keep a customer.

I haven't moved back yet, I'm not going to be able to 'til next month. And even then I'll be making a pit stop in the Bay Area in California. But I'll be going back to Tyler, the shithole that is east Texas.
yeah, that's bullshit to charge you extra for not setting up auto pay
if they want to reward customers who do set it up but giving them a slight discount, cool
but this is just fucking stupid

Essentially it's a $5 monthly fee if you want to contest charges
I would never ever set up autopay for anything, except maybe a student loan, given how many times I've had to re-cancel various subscriptions and services

A magician gives you a ring that, when worn, will let you see the world as it truly is.
However, the ring will never leave your finger, and you will be unable to ever describe to another living person what you see.
that soft drink you buy once a week or the lunch you could have made at home
this is an awful way to think about fees
you know that $2 a bank charges you to use their ATM when you're not a customer?
that $2 fee banks them millions upon millions of dollars a year
Does this shit happen in Aus as well? In the UK you don't ever get charged to use a cashpoint unless it is a privately owned one in a corner shop or wherever. It seems like the most bullshit thing fucked ever, other than americans paying to receive texts. I got a letter through the door today saying I could move to Virgin mobile, and for £10 a month get 200 minutes and unlimited free texts while keeping my phone and number. And for £15 a month the minutes would increase to 500

This might work since they'll likely be changing your contract because of this new fee and isn't that one of the few times you can break your plan without being charged and ETF?
Fuck giant company's that make millions upon millions of dollars of year trying to earn an extra buck. They're just trying to find a place in the world.
I had some bullshit 50 dollar a month plan with Rogers on my phone so once my contract was up I called and went on some tirade about how I was leaving them, not to renew, how I found better plans with better prices elsewhere etc etc and eventually got a really sweet plan (better than my original) for 30 bucks a month
Cell phone companies will jump through hoops to keep customers

If this is turning into a thread about stupid fees, FUCK cinemas who charge a 'booking fee' for buying your tickets online. You now have to employ one guy with a barcode scanner at the entrance to the cinema and somehow that's more expensive? Fuck you!
fuck shibby
(no don't actually fuck him, are you crazy?)
I wasn't being serious, it's really fucked up. A company that makes tons of money a year trying to get a little extra out of everyone they contract like is is really fucked up.

I love it when people complain about a fee for something when they don't understand costs involved in offering said choice.

how about that extra fee when you choose to print your own tickets vs picking them up at a certain location

Explain to me the costs involved. Obviously there is an up-front development and hardware cost, then on-going maintenance cost to keep the system running, but I find it hard to believe that it's so much that they need to charge an extra dollar per ticket, particularly when having such automation in place will save staffing costs and (I imagine) increase business due to the convenience.
Granted, there are other factors in play; the theatres probably want people hanging around in the line smelling their popcorn and contemplating the snack bar.
Don't deny me my outrage at having to pay an extra dollar for already pricey tickets though, Druhim!

I left sprint many years ago, but that was due to shitty service where I lived.
Hey where in TX did you move back to, btw?
