One of my mates has just marked an essay where the kid used a reference to a website (http://www.feministmormonhousewives.org/?p=1024) and then wrote in the comments he was using it for an essay. Other references were to sparknotes and a website for children.

I wouldn't say that a white affluent person's problems are unimportant. But when people profess that minorities and/or people in poverty have it so much better because of affirmative action and/or welfare issues, then yes, I'm probably going to consider their race or wealth when determining whether or not the person is a flaming hypocrite.
