The ones in lime currently have a sentence sent to them in their PM box. I'll use orange to signify someone who has a picture in their PM box and need to write a sentence about it.

PMs sent for all four. We're reaching the end for some of them, so I'm thinking we could possibly have our first one up by Monday. I'm not going to be able to do it over the weekend cause I have everything saved here at work. I may... but not likely.

You guys really have been doing a great job of getting these to me in a timely manner that I'm not enforcing any time restrictions. If I think it's taking too long (2 days or so) I'll probably send a PM your way letting you know to hurry it up, but this is moving along just fine that I don't see the need.

Shit, I was working on this sentence by Infidel, and I realized I skipped The Cow King. Hmmmm. I'm going to PM him the last thing I got and give him a chance to finish it off.

I apologize. I figured I was going to mess up somewhere in this shit. It's pretty crazy...

    Mother fucker...

Alright, I'm a dumbass (hopefully I don't have to call myself a silly goose)...

So, I looked through a few others and realized on a second one that I skipped someone else. So... This shit is going to take a bit longer to get in order than initially anticipated.

I though of a new method of organizing it that should hopefully prevent this the next go around. But this one is going to be pretty shitty to get in order.

If all goes well enough I'm thinking I can have all four of them completed and posted in this thread by Wednesday next week. We can then use Thursday - Sunday as sign ups / send in your sentence.

I may create a new thread for the second game for better organization as well. I've got a pretty decent idea of what to do now. This was pretty much a beta test thread because I realized a lot of mistakes I made and things I could've done differently to make it easier on myself.

I'm not retracting anything from what people have. I'm just going to fill in the people I missed at the end or whatever. I'm so unorganized...

This explains why Drswords was complaining about always getting sentences, I think.

Would it work better for the people to go ahead and send their work (either the new sentence or new drawing) directly to the next person in line (and CC you) rather than forcing everything to go through you each step?

Ok, here it is. This is Infidel's sentence. Let's see how it developed, shall we?

    Infidel's sentence.
No one believed it, until the gnomes came.

Typhus733, wonders what the fuck that means. Well here's his guess.
Steve convinced his friends to do acid, then told them the gnomes were coming.

Horseshoe had no problem drawing that, after all acid is his specialty.

    Fadingathedges has something to say.
Unibrow man's anger at the giant chex square can only be soothed by dancing garden gnomes.

The Cow King is a wonderful artist.
    catpoop.png

Kias, you have any idea what this means?
The man with a uni-brow and blue eyes was angry over having no one to play chess with, but forgot all about chess when he talked to the friendly garden gnomes.

Simonwolf is quite the artist, but can he actually put these words to canvas?

If your Chess opponent vanishes, try asking the gnomes for a match.

Diaus is also a wonderful artist.
    chessgate.png

Whenever I play a board game with anyone, they turn into a gnome and run out the door with my fishing gear.

The Cow King gets another chance.
    eatpoopcat.png

So, there you have it. Our first Eat Poop You Cat whatever you want to call these things. We should really have a name for them. Any ideas?

You guys did well, but I will say this, this is the worst of them. Not to say this is bad, but it's the one that's closest to the original sentence and doesn't really have a lot of evolution to it. Still pretty good in it's own right.

This was a great warm up, cause nothing can prepare you for the other ones. :D

This one was the one I thought I screwed up on and thought I skipped over The Cow King, but I looked back through PMs and found his, so he ended up doing it twice on this one. I figured I'd put them both on here.

Once we finish all four of them, I'll be better prepared for the second round. I've got some good ideas to test out and hope they work as well as I envision they will.

I would be scared to see this in artists' corner. People that can probably draw ideas very well would likely make this game less effective: They would be able to draw something resembling the sentence they're given, and you'd get less evolution, and more importantly less hilarity.

Maybe they could think of a way around it, like starting with a longer sentence and imposing on themselves a time limit for drawing stuff? Who knows...

I like that spoiler scrolling or whatever you want to call it. Certainly helps it flow better. I'll use it next time. It was pretty early and after drinking heavily during the Super Bowl and getting 5 hours of sleep, I was pretty sluggish this morning. Still am a bit.

Also, I posted the sign ups to this game in AC, but no one bit. I figured it'd be up their alley. Oh well. I've never posted in AC before, but I do go there from time to time to check out some of their work. They're very talented.

Also, after this is over, I'm creating a new thread. Everyone will have to sign up again except for CrimsonCoyote and Delmain (since they're on reserves). I think with the way I'm going to do my organization I may be able to handle more. 11 wasn't that difficult, but it was a great learning experience.

This is so not a game for the Artist's corner.

This is a Critical Failures game.

The better the art, the worse this game gets. The whole point of this is doodles and scribbles, that are hard to interpret. The clearer the interpretation, the far more boring this will become.
