So, I've been going through some shit with my school with concerns to my internship. They are claiming that I hadn't fully re-registered which would mean that they couldn't legally accept my 400 hours of work that I DID WITHOUT FUCKING PAY over these last 3 months. Shit was actually looking hopeful with the guy I was talking with. They were having an administrative meeting last thursday to determine my status. So I get a next day mail today.
THEY DIDN'T ACCEPT MY FUCKING HOURS MEANING I HAVE TO FUCKING REDO THIS SHIT

Why didn't they tell you this sooner?
I think you should escalate this with your school, maybe get the people you were working with to speak on your behalf - something to the effect of, "Pip did good work and deserves credit."
I hope you are able to salvage this in some way.

Talk to the administrator one last time. If and when he tells you there's nothing he can do tell him you're going to speak to an attorney. See if that gets you anywhere. I know a couple people that were able to deal with some disputes on requirement changes in their major that way.

it has already literally gone to the top brass
they cannot legally accept my hours because I was not registered
Was there some sort of check system wherein they allowed you to work the hours, or did you just register and then go on yourself?
If they gave you the okay to start the work, then the failure on their part for not properly conforming to their requirements should not automatically mean you are punished.

They can probably re-register you through an appeals process. Is that what you went after?
Pretty sure any college can change registration status at any time.

He already said that he volunteered for the position. So, maybe he could do something with the school, but lawyers aren't free, dude.

So can you just register for this semester and then have the lady you volunteered for sign whatever that says you did last semester's service work this semester?
I would be going against corporate and any litigation would take longer and likely cause way more stress than the 3 months it would take me to get hours

I thought I had it bad by doing full-time, unpaid internship for 6 weeks.
I was gonna say. Isn't this whole scenario illegal? They have to compensate you in some way.
